Absolutely amazing sound!!!
Don’t brag much on anything I buy but gotta give it this one. I wasn’t expecting much. I was just hoping to fill the gap in my Side by Side and it came in and I was even more skeptical. I went into the install head first and mounted under driver seat and even fabricated a nice mounting bracket for it. Then installed a 2nd battery under bed directly behind the Subwoofer and hooked all up. Turned on and NOTHING! So I looked at the gains and ever was ALL the way down so check that yall! Anyways it immediately started producing decent bass and pretty deep as well. I shrugged and went to tuner and put in some California…. Du du dup dup dup… you get it. Then turned it up and honestly was and still am BLOWN away! The sound this thing produces shouldn’t be possible but hooked up right and with proper power supply and tuned in you will not be disappointed. It has deep, clear and hitting bass and for an 8” I just cannot still believe it. Oh and did nothing mention it’s not in any trunk or enclosure, it is just under the seat exposed so I can’t imagine what it would sound like in a trunk etc. Great job Lanzar! Very impressed.

I wouldn’t recommend this
First of all, I couldn’t imagine having this on a boat and expecting any noticeable bass. Even in a car, the bass leaves a ton to be desired. It doesn’t have much range and not much punch. Now, to the really bad part: this sub blew in a little over a month, never being on full volume or having the bass turned up, while listening to rock/reggae… nothing crazy bass heavy. Amazon wouldn’t accept a return because it was out of the return window, and put me in touch with the manufacturer. The manufacturer will only allow you to send it in to them to be repaired- they will not replace it. So, you’ll be without a subwoofer for a few months before they either return yours or send you a new one if it’s not repairable. Pretty shoddy customer service. It’s a $150 speaker, not a $1500 speaker- send me a new one since you sold me a defective one. Would absolutely not recommend anyone go with this speaker due to performance issues, quality issues, and to top it off- bad customer service SOPs. ****update after a month of trying to get a return started: this company has perhaps the most incompetent, unwilling customer service. They take days/weeks to write you back, and continue asking for the same information you’ve supplied them over and over again. Total incompetence. Meanwhile- you’ll be without a subwoofer. I finally purchased one from a different company, since this company is absolutely oblivious as to how customer service works. You should find ANY other product than this one.

Still bumping.
Installed in my 2020 rzr turbo 2 seater. Some have had problems with this sub but after several power wahings and rain storms have not had any trouble with it. My only complaint is the remote, definitely not water proof but after drying it still works. Moved it from a permanent mount to just being loose so I can unplug it during washing. Sound quality is ok for the depth of the box but if your looking for serious bump the more expensive ones may suit your needs better. I did however mount it sideways so no water gets in to the adjustment knobs or inputs. Also, if pairing with a wetsounds bar, you will need a 3.5mm to rca adapter.

Base in my Jeep!
This works well for me! Just make sure to turn up the gain once installed. I like having some nice bass in my jeep and also that it is a marine model since rivers tend to have water and my jeep likes rivers. It installed and runs fine with this wiring kit:http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EYHEGG/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_12We put it under the back seat of the wrangler and used the drainage plugs to run the power and RCA cables under the jeep. For the power cable we had to cut the plug a little but that was better than drilling new holes. We did bolt it down so we had to drill into the bed a bit for that.I like this better than separate amp sub solutions and also I like that it hides under the back seat of my 2001 Jeep Wrangler TJ. Other solutions weren't necessarily ready for the water, and a lot took up precious cabin or behind the back seat space of my Jeep which I wasn't ready to give up. Perfect to just have it hidden under the back seat. Some people put theirs under the driver or passenger seat, which would work too, I just know that is where water pools if you are splashing through the river or driving in rain so I wanted it higher up on the back seat ledge. I can still feel it plenty from the front seat.I'll update this if I have any problems but so far so very good!
