Bootstrap Farmer72 Cell Seed Starting Trays Extra Strength, 10 Pack, Seedling Tray 1020 Inserts

I purchased these because of friend of mine has been using these trays that purchased several years ago and they are just as good today as they were several years ago when he first got them. These trays are so extremely sturdy and can hold a full compliment of wet soil and plants with ease. You can pick them up with worries about holding the bottom to keep the from bending and folding. I am extremely impressed with the quality. Their customer service exceeded all my expectations. We received a tray that flawed. I sent them a few pictures of it on a Saturday afternoon and within an hour not only did I have a reply saying they were going to take care of this issue and a shipping order confirming the replacement tray will be shipped the following Monday. I have never received customer service such as this.

I don't write reviews often, but this year I have gone through 4 different brands of trays that were 25-50% cheaper than these and had issue with all of them. They were flimsy, didn't fit in the 1020 tray well, were specifically a one use tray, or broke the first time I tried to remove transplants from them.I'm very happy with the quality of this product, and while I have them planted with their first round of the year, I expect they will easily make it multiple seasons. I am currently ordering more seed trays and flats to replace the 128 cell trays that don't fit in their 1020 trays I receive from Johny's this year, and will slowly change all of mine to these as they break.

I ordered both the 5-pack and the 10-pack. The 5-pack had one corner broken in every tray, while the 10-pack was fine. No box damage, so I think Amazon packed a broken 5-pack for shipment. The seller, Bootstrap Farmer contacted me and made it right for me. I would recommend these trays as they are heavy and will obviously last many years AND the seller is great to work with!

Very durable! Can be full of soil and water and never bend

I was very underwhelmed by these supposedly extra-strength seed starring trays. Many broke in half at the middle edges of the tray once they were filled with potting mix and then watered. I should have bought the superior and more expensive ones from Hoss Tools. Those ones look like they will last for years and years. Many of these ones aren't lasting through their first year.

Just received these after having ordered and used Bootstrap Farmer's mesh bottom trays and regular trays this spring and loved them. As I unboxed them it seemed that the cell trays were sturdy, but I immediately I noticed that there was damage to the corner of at least one of the trays. Upon further inspection I found that two of the ten trays had been cracked. Severely disappointed as these are very expensive trays and we chose to invest in them with the assumption that they would last year's longer than the flimsy garden center trays. I would return them and request new ones except that we need them for fall seeding right now and cannot spare the time for a return and reorder. So I will use the 8 non damaged trays and hope that the other two do not break on me any further.

Fast shipping from Bootstrap Farmer, and product was as advertised. Very pleased with the heavy duty quality of these starter trays vs the ones we had purchased from the big box hardware stores. Have had them several weeks with a huge variety of flower seeds started, and am getting better results than in previous years. These work well with warming mats without getting too hot & drying out the cells, as the material of these trays is thicker than what I used in the past. Recommend this seller.

These are great sturdy, tough trays.

After a full year of growing these would be my go to trays if I could still get them at a reasonable price (what I paid). Although the brick in the picture seems a bit much, I know I can get 4-5 seasons easily. I bought some thicker trays from my local garden supply (they were a step up from the cheap kits about 2-3 times heavier) and I lost 6 trays through the season. My bootstrap trays are still going strong. Well worth what I paid (68.00 cdn for 10) twice the price of the others. If you have a chance, stock up. If you will use them more than a season, buy these. WELL WORTH IT. Good job Bootstrap. Built farm tough.

These trays from Bootstrap Farmer, are LIFERS. No more brittle, broken junk for me..I’m using these puppies... Go ahead! Don’t worry, they are excellent, and worth a lot more than you’ll be paying, because you won’t be replacing them every year like you are right now. These will save you MONEY! These are the best seed trays ever. They are the same price as the cheap flimsy ones you get at the big box stores. But they are much better quality. I know I will get a few years out of these them. They are an investment. not some cheap crap that will end up in the land fill after one season.

These tray inserts are strong and reliable, they make things so much easier when planting seedlings!I really wish that they would keep selling this because I need to order more!!!

These are sturdy trays, but 1 of the 10 trays received has a large hole (see picture) that makes this particular slot unusable. I have been waiting for these tray's availability for a long time so I'm not sending back the whole order for a minor defect, but it's slightly disappointing.
