This light might make Mother nature jealous !! As close to real sunlight as I've ever seen. I use this for growing fruits and veggie seedlings, and on my dwarf plants. I have a little Aeonium forest that is on the floor next to my grow lights due to lack of room on my grow shelves . Some of them are quite tall to be putting on shelves anyway. This light is perfect to help them get more colorful. As you can see in the pictures, I’m getting new growth in the middle of most of them . And I’ve gotten beautiful new color on all of them . This light doesn’t get too hot . So it doesn’t force them into dormancy. The stand is adjustable to many different heights . The 12 hour timer is perfect. The seller is very helpful and friendly. He responded very quickly to my questions. The light was ready to use with little assembly and is sturdy . I’m very happy with this light . I’m glad my Aeonium forest finally has the light it needs to grow and be colorful without throwing them into dormancy like hotter lights can . These would be good for someone with one of the multi level shelves that need some grow light on each shelf because they can be bent to put the light where it is needed . I actually move mine around from time to time to make sure each plant is getting the light it deserves. :-)

Don't buy these lights from Amazon I order 2 and they weren't even tht old and they don't work anymore waste of my money then when I reach out to Amazon they DNT want to replace these and they aren't cheap either never again will I ever buy plant lights from Amazon again I'm Not the only one my friend order plant lights from Amazon and hers went out also they are junk lights.

Overall this is a great light, but it's not for everyone. This light cannot be used with an external timer or any other kind of 120v controller. I wanted to keep the light turned on to full brightness and put it on a standard 120v outlet timer that I could use to adjust the photoperiod from 8-14 hours depending on the season, but unfortunately when the unit loses then regains power the lights don't come back on automatically, you need to press the power button even though there is power going to the unit. For some this might not be a problem, the unit has built in 3,6, and 12hr light cycles, but for other lighting periods you'll have to bypass the onboard controller which the seller has informed me will void the warranty. The stand is a but flimsy and the unit is easy to knock over, especially when extended to full height, but the variable height is nice and it seems well built enough that I'm not worried about it breaking. As far as light output it's pretty good, the lights aren't suitable for high light plants but for common house plants/starting seedlings indoors it's sufficient. I wouldn't expect to use this as the sole light source for things like succulents, mature vegetables, or cannabis, but it's perfect for many common houseplants like pathos, zz plant, and lilies that thrive in low/medium intensity light. I'm using this light in conjunction with higher output units to provide supplemental lighting to plants on the outskirts of the main grow area and it's a great supplemental light. Overall I would highly recommend this light if you're looking for something in this form factor and the onboard controller options work for you, if you want to use an external controller for additional timer functionality or sunrise/sunset effects then this probably isn't what you're looking for.

purchased this on 09/15/22 the switch has quite working can I get a replacement

I waited 2 months before I wrote this because I really wanted to give a good, honest review. From out of the box to the floor, the set up of this lamp was easy peasy! Pretty standard, easy to use settings and love the timer. My plants since using this have been flourishing. I put my succulent props in my adansonii pot and they have been rooting and blooming like crazy! My adansonii also seems to be way happier which was the whole reason I bought this. She was dropping leaves on the bottom like crazy and this light, along with some liquid kelp and pruning, solved my problems!it’s very lightweight and the only thing I wish was different is that I wish the legs had a little more weight to them and more grippy feet. It stays put just fine but because of its awkward location, I do bump into it from time to time and it very easily slides. Not a huge deal so it’s still an awesome lamp to me!

Huge number of LEDS = great brightness. I can't mount the light to my desk and only had a tight space, and the tripod worked well for that.One down side is the power adapter is pretty large, so it might be hard to fit a bunch on a power strip. But if you have one or two it should be fine.Will update if I encounter any other issues.

It worked for almost 1 year I didn't use it everyday and suddenly it just went dim of no use now. Is there some way to get a new head of lights?

This is my first time buying a light for gardening, actually my first time gardening! I don't get much sunlight and have read that I would need to provide light to the seeds to help them get started. To be honest, these just look like regular LED lights to be but I've seen more expensive options at Home Depot that look like regular florescent office ceiling lights - but hung right above the seeds. I would have went with the Home Depot solution but have no way to mount it - this tripod make it so much easier!There's different height, timer and brightness settings making this very versatile. I can turn on only 1 (of the 4) lights to start a few seeds, or up to all 4 (for a really bright area?) for more seeds. I need to do more reading but I assume the different brightness would help after the seeds start sprouting. I think a cool feature would be to have a timer to adjust brightness (e.g. 100% brightness for 3hrs, then automatically 80% for 3hrs, then off).

First of all, it arrived super fast considering it was free shipping! It was super easy and straightforward to assemble. I love that you can extend it at such a good height. I have observed that if you spread the lights around, it isn’t so bright but if you group them together, it is BRIGHT. I guess it depends how you use it! Overall, it is great and does perfectly especially when you need the height!!!

If you're looking for a powerful grow light that you can move around and place exactly where you need it, I suggest you seriously consider this model. Your plants will reciprocate with abundant growth.

Bought 3 of these lights between Aug 25th and September 3rd. One arrived damaged and the seller sent a replacement, which was great. However, it is now October 20th, and another one of them has already stopped working. It won't stay on and just flickers. Too bad because they are nice bright lights at a good price. UPDATE: a week later and now it doesn't even flicker. What a waste.

It was a very good light for the time it worked. Unfortunately after a couple months it stopped working. Whenever I plug it in the remote portion just blinks and no light appears.
