I have chipped away an old repair. Now left with cracks from hairline to one that is 2" wide by 3" deep. Will this product work?

IMHO..this is a great product for cracks maybe up to 1/2" wide...no larger...Look at a concrete mix for top coat and such for your2x3"...quikcrete make suitable products.

Does this look like it IS concrete when dried? Used another type and it seemed more like the elastic around a tub. I want to use on front steps.

Use a 1" chip brush (those cheap, disposable brushes with blond bristles) to texture the application, after you push it in. If the bristles are about 1-1/2" long, cut them down to about half, so they'll be stiff. Use this to go over the patch and the bristles will follow the texture of the concrete to which the patch was applied. Afterwards, rather than a "sore thumb" smooth patch where you ran your putty knife or glove, you'll have a texture more like the original.

Once again how many quarts do I need for 150 running feet with 3/4 inch wide cracks?

Assuming your concrete is only 4” thick and the crack is a uniform 3/4” in width, 150 linear feet would require 22.346 gallons of filler (assuming zero shrinkage, which is impossible). The amount required will vary depending on the depth of the crack, as volume can only be computed using three linear measurements.
