I don't buy into these bad reviews at all. I was in need of many of these type safety cans. I tested this particular can (in all sizes) vigorously before I bought more of them. Made in China or not, this can makes the grade. It pours easily (the 1" version) and stops on a dime when you release the pull handle. There is no cumbersome cap to screw down or lose. This can is fully galvanized, and yes there could be some zinc flake left over from this process; that is nothing to fuss about because there is a mesh filter to strain such debris (in and out). I turned a full can totally upside down and rolled it on its side, and it didn't spill a drop. It is really easy to fill at a gas station, and it has a wide and stable stance, and will not tip over easily. If you want to fill it from different sources, simply use a flexible metal funnel. If you look closely at all the stickers, you will find that this can is also UL approved. I don't know what else you could possibly ask for in a safety can. I ended up buying over a dozen of these cans, never a problem.Choose these type products wisely, because once a gas can, any gas can, gets into a consumer's hands, it cannot be returned due to Federal regulation against the shipment of hazardous materials; so be warned!

I bought this some time ago. I wanted to share I forgot it was in the back of my truck, and it rolled around for a week, with about 2 gallons in it, never leaked a drop. I use it for diesel for my tractor, and it so nice to do five gallons and the flexible hose does not get anywhere it is not supposed to. I am buying another for regular gas.

Tired of fighting with plastic fuel cans with spouts that don't work, I bought the Justrite 7250430 AccuFlow 5 Gallon for fueling my garden tractor. I love how the mechanism allows fuel to flow without spillage. I got the 1" flex hose so it takes no time to gas up. Mind you holding the weight of 5 gallons of fuel in the air (as needed for my tractor) is strenuous, this can makes that effort minimal. I absolutely recommend this product. Made in U.S.A. of the highest quality, finest materials, solid, and most important its safe.
