Pet Remedy Calming Wipes, 12-Pack

I bought these calming wipes for my 7 year old Chihuahua, she is a rescue dog and had been kept inside for all of her life. She is scared of everything, from meeting people outside to a leaf blowing past. I had taken her to the behaviourist at me vets to ask for advice as to what I could buy to calm her down, she recommend the calming wipes. Early days yet, she seems more calm in the house but still frightened outside. I sit with her and stoke over her head and under her chin with the wipe and then entwin it in her collar, hopefully as time goes on she will become more and more relaxed.

My dog is nearly 2 and is quite a sensitive chap to noises, like fireworks and thunder.The vet gave us one of these to use when we next go as, like most dogs, he hates the vetsI used it when we had quite a bad thunderstorm, wiping over his neck and muzzle and within30 seconds he was lying down having a snoozeNot sure what's in it to react as quick, but he was far more rested and when we had another storm the following night he ignored the thunder noises and was quite chilled.I would really recommend these wipes, they are pricey but are really worth it

The first sachets were dry, I got a replacement and am very pleased with these, they were really helpful for introducing our stray/anxious cat to her new home, she was semi wild and using the wipes on furniture, bedding, ourselves (!) and the carpet helped her feel calm and 'at home'. If she goes to the vet we use them and they definitely work. Expensive for what they are, we use the plug in which lasts about 3 months, the wipes only get one use but are still worth having.

Bought these after receiving a sample in the diffuser refill packets, we used it on my nervous rescue dog when we had a plumber round as she is quite protective over the house and her family, and she loved the smell, it was a really simple and not a stressful process to use them, and she calmed down a lot more and even had a sleep in the remaining time the plumber was here! We've bought some more to help with car journeys and other times we might need someone to come to the house!

Used when introducing two cats to one another, one cat loved the scent and the other hated it as soon as we opened the packet darted away from the scent. I guess it’s a bit hit and miss as to how each pet will respond. The smell is fairly strong but one cat really did seem to love it. I liked that they come individually wrapped so can be used over time and you can place them in a carrier when taking pets to the vet depending how your pet responds.
