Fantastic
Came packaged beautifully, roots and plant looked very healthy on arrival. Planted in small pot to start and leaves are getting much bigger. Taste is fantastic.Update: Getting bigger and started to flower!Update: I wanted to show how beautiful this thing looks when its in full flower and multiple branching at internodes. Never seen anything like this before, very cool and tasty.Update 2018: When these new ones came, I learend that you should clip the flowers, I have a pic of the flowers in the sequence. If you cut them back over and over so that they are mounds, at some point they will give off leaves. In my experience if you keep pruning back flowers before they exist, vegetative leaves will emerge in about 3 weeks to a month. The vegetative leaves taste the best and aren't prickly to the extent the flowers are.

The plants look good. I thought they were going too be dropped ...
The plants look good. I thought they were going too be dropped at door but they were left in my mail box. So they were a little wilted but in excellent condition. Good color and smell. I would have like a little bigger pot I am afraid too transplant. But they are very good

These are Tropical Plants
Have ordered 2 sets of these....one set showed up dead. These are tropical plants...which is why you don't see them in the states.....and I've had zero success trying to grow them in many forms (seed and plants) and in many environments. I LOVE culantro, and I'm not giving up yet! Very difficult for this seller, as they have no control over temps during shipment....which is probably why one set showed up dead. I'm in the Rocky Mountains.....so they likely were exposed to cold during shipment. Probably best to order during the mid summer months.

Very Healthy Recao Plants
I have been trying to grow recao (culantro) from seed for a while without any luck, so decided to order even though I thought this item was pricey (and so do all my Puerto Rican cousins who have it growing wild in their backyards, which they never offer to ship, I might add.). I was a bit concerned because we were having a mini heat wave in NYC when the plants were due to arrive. Need not have worried: the plants arrived on time and extremely healthy. It must be noted that each little pot hast three or four plants, so more bang for your buck.I proceeded to repot according to instructions and the plants don't appear to have suffered any transplant shock. The photo below are the plants four days after transplanting. I could have spaced them better but did not want to disturb the roots. The instructions say to water every day for the first week but I think I should have mixed my soil with vermiculite or something else to make it lighter as a few days later it still feels extremely wet so I have not watered. (Overwatering kills more plants than underwatering, I think.)

Not. too happy
Es la planta que andaba buscando. Pero la foto no refleja lo que recibes.. en la foto vez dos plantas grandes y listas para usar. En cambio recibes dos pequeñas plantas que debes esperar meses para poder usar sus hojas.

Good plant, grew well
I purchased these back in April and the arrived well. Planted them in a pot outside and they did well up until November. I sometimes forgot about them, picked off the wilted leaves and they bounced right back. I am going to order again in the spring.

Hardy little things!
I can't believe these made it!! Wrapped in newspaper (I assume it was wet upon packing), shoved into a small flat rate USPS box and it sat in our hot mailbox for a day! They look good! I immediately soaked them in tepid water and I will harden them off when our night time temps get just a wee bit warmer. I might keep one indoors and plant the other one outside to see which one is more successful. If all goes well, I should be making a batch of sofrito in about 2-3 weeks!! I use sweet mini-peppers for now until I can get these aji dulce seeds to sprout and bear fruit. There is no substitute for the flavor of recao. I laugh when produce managers suggest cilantro! lol yeh, NO "You clearly don't know what you're talking about"
