These pliers are very useful for household tasks. They feel sturdy and well made. The grip is comfortable and they work well for different jobs. They arrived well packaged and in excellent condition. Great purchase.

This Amazon Basics Pliers Set is surprisingly impressive. The tools are heavy, solid, and feel like great quality—comparable to name-brand sets. For the price, you really can’t beat it. Excellent value and perfect for everyday use.

These tools seem very solid, and arrived with just a small amount of surface rust. The slip-joint pliers felt sloppy and I was able to unscrew the retaining nut with just my fingers. A few drops of blue thread locker seams to have fixed the problem for now.

They’re a smidge larger and more substantial feeling than I was expecting for the price, so I think they’re a great value. Excellent little bundle of some essential tools for around the house.

4 stars considering the price point. For the price, this is OK for a spare set of pliers to throw in a car tool bag. The cutter on all the pliers worked well up to 12ga wire (the largest I had at the moment), and of course, zip ties were no issue. All 4 were of a good size, if you only have one of each at hand when you need them. One issue that applies to both the needle nose and the lineman pliers is that that the jaws don't completely come together. Though almost perfectly parallel, the jaws don't quite meet, though they do at the cutter. Not a huge gap. For the needle nose we are talking about something less than a 32nd of an inch. For the lineman, a hair more. For a point of reference, using standard copy paper the needle nose will grip 4 layers, but not three. For the lineman pliers, it took 5 layers. So, for 99.9% of what I am (and most people are) likely to do, no problem. But even comparably priced pliers I have purchased from a nationally know purveyor of Chinese tools did not have this problem. My preference would have been to have one of the 4 be a "channel lock" type plier rather the the "lineman" type in the set, but that's just me. I would consider buying again if needed another cheap set.

Really good set for the price. Nice and big, fits in the hands well. Cutters is sharp, pliers is exactly what they should be.

The 4 piece set is excellent. Very robust construction, good alignment, excellent grip are the main plus points. Dont know about its rust-free nature in a humid place - only time will tell. As of now I am very happy with this purchase.
