Q: Can we use an American style cord plugged into the AC/DC adapter? It came with a European style, which we obviously cannot use in America.

It should have come with a US cord too.

Q: Does it require a third party driver to function with a MacOS device?

ELO touchscreens include a license to use the Touchbase UPDD driver.

Q: Are you 100% positive the stand cannot be removed? Looks like four screws thanks!

The stand is mounted using the industry-standard VESE 100 screw pattern. Four Phillips screws and the Monitor is free to be remounted on any VESE 100 mount. I wall mount these as POS monitors and dispose of the ELO stand.
