I've been using a brand of Methika, Bhringraj and Coconut Oil hair oil for a while now. You can apply to towel dry air, but I usually wash, and dry my hair fully before application. You start applying at the roots of the hair, and then work the oil outward towards the tips. I usually then wrap a towel around my head, and leave the oil to soak in for 30 minutes, although you can leave on overnight. If you do leave overnight, be sure to wear an elasticated shower cap to stop it getting all over your pillow.After 30 minutes (or next morning), just wash out thoroughly with shampoo, then blow dry, and style your hair.I have to say this SVATV oil is just as good as my normal brand, and it is a little cheaper too. I like the fact that there are pieces of visible plant/herb inside the bottle, although not sure whether this makes up some of the 100ml contents.This oil has a lovely herby smell, and has left my hair really shiny, soft, and manageable. It also seems to stay cleaner between washes, and help with dandruff too. Whether it helps with alopecia, hair thinning and hair loss is another matter, and I really haven't noticed much difference with my own hair. However, my friend swears by this oil, and says it has really helped thicken his thinning hair, and encouraged more rapid growth.It's a great natural product, but like all these oils it is quite expensive.
