With the model standing as she is in the pictures above it does not really show / emphasize the reflective stripes at the zippers of the front pockets & on both sides of the coat.Wanted to take a pic for you all so you can see for yourselves so you’re not unpleasantly surprised like I was.

Very nice to the touch outer fabric with soft feeling, good amount of down to keep anyone warm on the cold winter days. I am 5.2, 146lbs bought size Large because I like it easy on, in case of wearing a light sweater underneath. It fits just as expected, sleeves are a little long but have rib cuffs so they can be pushed up or down to cover upper hand.I like the long zipper pockets trimmed with ice grey piping. Pocket bags are at the bottom not very deep, however deep enough to put hands in. I'm not planning on using pockets much because I like the slenderizing effect when zippers are closed closed.There are long zippers with the inserts on both sides that can be unzipped to the desirable length to provide extra ease (trimmed with the same ice grey color). Hood has adjustment string, it is not detachable which doesn't matter to me. It lays softly on the shoulders, it looks almost like a large collar. It has a front zipper butI love snaps! Can't be bothered with zipper. Just snap it and unsnap when I walk to the warm store.

For reference, I am 5’0”, 137lbs. I got the size M in the yellow. I loved the color. Like a previous reviewer said, it is more gold than yellow, I would call it goldenrod. The quality of construction is high. The M fit me fine. On me the length comes to mid calf. The arms are quite long but because of the knit cuffs inside the sleeves, you can keep the sleeves pushed up, but when needed let it out to cover your hands. For someone who is petite, the coat is quite overwhelming. I think it would look better on someone taller. It is thick, and I think it would keep you warm in very cold weather. For me it’s too warm as I live in the southern California. Sadly, I had to send it back. Still giving the coat 5 stars for the quality and style.

Warm coat. I'm 5'6" 153 lbs. Based on review recommendations, I bought a large, even though I usually wear medium. My coat is a bit big, even when wearing a second layer. But, it's comfy to walk around in and keeps me warm. The length hits a couple of inches below my knee. The two-way zipper works great. Easy up and down. The hood stays up even though it has no drawstring. There were comments from reviewers disliking the silver stripes on the pockets and sides of the coats. I actually like that they break up the monotony of the black coat. The zip-up sections on each side of the coat bottom work well for expanded walking room. Overall, this is a very good coat for the money. I'm glad I bought it.

Other than the zipper being wrong for a woman, I love the coat - as someone else said, I thought it would be a brighter yellow - seems more goldenrod to me too. The fit is nice, and it is very warm. I like the length of the coat, I like to have a coat long enough to sit on. Will have to get used to zipping it backhanded - for me anyway. Great coat for the price.

I love this coat. It's warm and roomy enough for that sweater you thought you needed. Do not order up as it fits large. Love the pockets. It could use an inside pocket. If you get the yellow you will be easy to find by all your friends, but will stand out in a crowd. I love the color but it's not for everyone.

I have been looking for a cheerful winter coat for a long time. I wanted something to bring some cheer to the long gloomy winters, and that doesn’t allow any hunters to mistake me for a deer. This is it! Love the coat. It lost one star because the fabric gets stuck in the zipper and there is no interior pocket for my wallet.

When I saw "made in China" and absence of "fill rate" as accustomed to with Eddie Bauer I was hesitant. But, it had all the features I was looking for except an inside pocket so took a chance. Pleasantly surprised with quality, it and features.

I particularly wanted a coat with a two way zip so ordered this one. The coat is fine if you wear a very thin jumper or blouse underneath it. I like to wear a warmer jumper and the sleeves are too constricting although the body was ok. I am returning my coat. I have an Asda George padded coat which fits perfectly when I am wearing the chunkiest of jumpers underneath it and it cost a fifth of the price of this coat. I don't recommend it.

Absolutely fabulous coat. Well made with good zip and deep lined pockets. Great good. As well as being warm and toasty it looks very good too. Very pleased with my purchase.
