Me gusto porque la ventosa se puede retirar i instalar con facilidad y no con la pelicula que viene como accesorio y que se debe adherir al parabrisas que resulta demasiado molesto, buena compra.

Good replacement for disfunctional original part
Nice suction cup. Used with a Zumo 550, fits the Garmin holder perfectly. Slightly larger than the original. Has been used only a few times but never fell down so far, whereas the original from Garmin never really held properly onto the windshield.

Acheté pour un GARMIN Streetpilot C550, cet article y est parfaitement adapté et convient donc tout à fait. De plus, la ventouse est nettement plus large et plus souple que sur le modèle original, ce qui en assure une meilleure adhésion sur les vitres de la voiture. Cerise sur le gâteau : l'article a été livré de Grande-Bretagne en 2 jours ouvrables au lieu de 6 comme annoncé !

Reliable Grip, Just Mind the Mount Point
This mount has been a solid upgrade from the wobbly OEM piece. With its lever-activated TPU suction cup and included adhesive disc, it sticks like glue to my uneven dash and refuses to budge, even on bumpy backroads. The 3" arm and 360° ball head definitely live up to their promise, making it easy to swivel my nuvi into just the right viewing angle without fiddling with a bunch of knobs. One thing to be aware of: it’s reliable until it's not. If the dash gets too dusty or your glass isn’t squeaky clean, it loses its grip faster than you’d hope. Also, the plastic feels less premium than Garmin’s own hardware—but for the price, that’s a fair trade. All in all, it’s a dependable daily driver upgrade that restores confidence in your navigation setup without the price tag of a full cradle.

Excellent replacement or upgrade from the original Garmin mount.
I had lost original Garmin mount when I used it in a Rental car and went looking for a replacement. I had read about the Akron from other reviews. Garmin no longers sell replacement parts directly from there website :( The Akron immediately fit well with the Garmin Universal Mount (alson on Amazon) for the back of the GPS. I did not find the ball to be loose when I used it with the original Garmin mount for the back of the GPS. Been in use for about 2 weeks now. Definitely much better than the original mount that came with the Garmin. As mount is very adjustable, I can now move it for better vision.
