Best ultralight pot to strain water on the market!
This is a great ultralight backpacking pot that I have owned for several months and used on several backpacking trips and cooked several meals in it (from pasta to just simply boiling water). Many people are complaining that the lid snaps on and doesn’t come off easily. This is NOT a design flaw, it is meant to do this in order to strain pasta without your lid falling off. That is why it is called a pasta pot LOL . Also, the snapped down lid is VERY easily able to be removed by lightly pulling up on the back end of the lid near the handles. Just a slight tug with a finger or spoon or stick and it pops right off. Some people are concerned that the lid may cause a dangerous situation with boiling water as it is clamped down on the pot. If you don’t want to clamp down the lid to the pot, you can just slightly set the lid on top of the pot without pushing down to clamp it, just like any other titanium pot on the market. Another reviewer complained that the plastic on the handles could possibly melt by flames from your stove. I have use the stove so many times I can’t count, and never thought one time that those plastic handles could possibly melt... and they never did. There’s not even a burn mark on the handles. This, again, is not a design flaw. They are made of silicone and meant to handle high temperatures in order to protect your hand from a hot handle when lifting it away from your stove. It actually means I don’t need to use a towel or buff to grab the pot!One of my favorite parts about this pot is it’s wider base. This allows more of the flame of your stove to cover the bottom of the pot reducing consumption of fuel and decreasing boil time (which also saves weight because you can bring less fuel). This can be a big deal when out in the back country.I am fairly certain you will not find another 1L backpacking pot as light and versatile as this one. Yes, it is an expensive pot and there are much less expensive titanium pots out there from Toaks (which I also own) and they are also great pots. But having the lid snap on and silicone handles (so I don’t have to bring an extra towel to grab heart handles) and straining holes and a wider base at a super ultralight weight is worth the extra dollars for me.Also, it will fit a 220 g (7.75 oz) gas canister just perfectly nested inside of it if you are cooking for two or taking longer trips by yourself. I just usually take the smaller 113 g (4 ounces) gas can along with my BRS stove for 3-4 day trips by myself. I boil water 2-3 times per day on my trips and have never run out of fuel.If you’re looking for an ultralight 1L pot that can also strain pasta well then buy this pot!Five stars!!

Awesome backpacking stove at a good price. Great value!
The two things you want in a backpacking stove: works great and is lightweight. I used this with a Solo Stove, and it's a great combination: the Solo Stove even nestles perfectly into the Evernew perfectly when you're done cook, so it save you space in your pack. There are only two things I would change. One, it would be nice if the handles were a little closer together so you could pick them up with a multi tool. This isn't a huge problem because the silicone rubber protects them. But if you're cooking over an open flame like I do, I suppose it's always theoretically possible the silicone could overheat and come off. Not a big deal. The other thing is probably not so much a change as a warning. The lid goes on pretty tight. That's great if you're using the pasta straining feature. Not so great if you're taking the lid off to add food or want an easier pour into a bag of Mountain House. This isn't a problem in the long run because you just have to remember to lightly rest the lid on the top instead of jamming it down on there.Great product, I've enjoyed using it. Mine's already jet black from having sat on my woodburning stove during a multi-day backpacking trip, and I love it.

Excellent piece of lightweight gear
Very happy overall with this pot. Thin-walled titanium makes it very lightweight, yet still sturdy enough to withstand regular usage, if it's not abused. Saw another reviewer claim it was too thin, but that's the reason you purchase a pot like this. Great size for stowing a fuel canister and ultralight stove (SnowPeak), along with a lighter, scrubber, and couple of other small essentials. Would purchase again, if needed.

Great, Super-Light, Packable Cook Pot
Don't think a solo backpacker would need anything bigger thanthis. Along with my toaks titanium 750 pot and my homemadewood/gas stove, I have an efficient, durable, super-light mess kit.The Pasta Pot is perfect for making easy, hearty dishes like "Annie'sMac & Cheese". Holds enough water to cook a decent amount ofpasta. Drain the cooking water through the handy strainer in thelid. Add the contents of a foil packet of tuna and half a package offrozen peas and you've got a tasty, easy-to-prepare tuna casserole.Buon apetito !

Great Lightweight Pot But One Suggestion for US Market
The pot is great and lightweight and a huge weight savings over my old one. The thickness of the pot wall is sturdy enough and it looks like it can withstand being packed with other items in my pack. The head conduction is great and the pot boils water very quickly. The rubber coated handles come in handy, and haven't gotten burned by my MSR Pocket Rocket 2 as long as I'm careful to center the pot on the burner. My one suggestion is that the gradations for ounces be changed. The pot currently has markings for 15 and 30 ounces. Multiples of eight or sixteen would be better as most US backpacking food provides instructions in cups or fractions of a cup. Of course, you might say just bring a measuring cup, but I'm trying to avoid carrying extra weight.

Awesome pot
I love everything about this pot. Just the right size for two people. Very light. The only downside is that it’s not big enough to nest both an 8 oz fuel canister and my MSR procketrocket deluxe. Only the canister fits. It's close so maybe a smaller stove would fit.
