These are no comparison to the competition. This is quality and seals the kimchi so well that there is no longer an odor in the refrigerator. Supporting this company with these containers and dolsots have been an easy choice. All their products and sizes are quality and worth every penny.

Amazing kimchi container!
I have this and a larger version of this, but this size is perfect for keeping in the fridge without taking up and entire shelf, and makes incredibly good kimchi and can go straight from starting ferment to fridge without having to do anything. Keeps smells in and kimchi crisp and tasty, and doesn’t let it ripen too fast! Really great container, I definitely want more of this size for smaller batches of pickled turnip, carrot, whatever. It fits a small Napa cabbage in quarters, or a half a larger one with the large leaves chopped.

Great for making small batch Kimchii!
I originally bought this small Kimchi Fermentation and Storage Container as I had never made my own Kimchi before, and wasn't going to make a lot of it my first time. However, it turned out so good that my wife and I went through it in no time. I then purchased the larger 1.3 gallon container by Crazy Korean Cooking so we could make larger batches, and found that we could still use this container by keeping the larger container in our older refrigerator in the garage, and taking out enough Kimchi from that one and placing it in the smaller container that we keep in our kitchen refrigerator (which is always pressed for room it seems), and it works great!So, if you only need to make small batches of Kimchi, this is a great container for just that. And, if you like making bigger batches but always have to haul out the big container every time you want some, this smaller container can make things much easier on you as well by keeping a good amount taken from the larger container handy in your kitchen refrigerator. Etwas teuer aber bereue den Kauf nicht. Die passen perfekt in dem Kühlschrank nebeneinander und das kimchi machen ist super damit.
