Really held up in driving rainstorm, actually water proof!Keeps me warm and dry which is really nice especially when its 33F and the rain is going sideways due to the wind. Zipper is well made and the hood can be tightened down to fit. The cuffs on the sleeves can be made tight around the wrists to prevent water intrusion. Large was a good fit as I wear a t-shirt and heavy duty wool shirt under the jacket

Bought this jacket for our daughter who walks her dog early mornings and in the evenings. She needed something for safety so that cars along the busy streets she walks would see her as she and her dog are walking or getting ready to cross the street. It has already been useful on several occasions! The only downside is that it is a man's jacket - they didn't have a women's jacket. Keeping her safety in mind - I still bought this one figuring she could wear another jacket beneath it to keep her warm (we live in Colorado). She does wear it with another coat beneath in chilly weather. The many pockets it has have come in handy for keys, wallet, doggy bags, dog treats, gloves, hat, leash, mini-flashlight and cell phone (so many useful pockets!). The neon green helps (wish there was another color), however it is the reflective strips on the jacket that are very useful. The strips do not look metallic or reflective when you look at them in normal lighting, but when car lights shine on them, they positively glow and become very reflective (even when it is snowing). There have been construction workers and other dog walkers asking where she got her jacket and if it comes in different colors or styles (I WISH!). Seriously, this is one of the best gifts to give a dog walker who has to walk along busy streets when it is cold and dark outside - SAFETY FIRST - style and color, well - let's hope they are working on more choices!). I also bought a matching vest for warmer weather.
