I have ordered this product many times. This particular bottle seemed as though there were placebos in the bottle. This bottle did not have the same effects, as previously ordered.

BUYER BEWARE!!I have purchased this product before from a local drug store and it worked. It is amazing how well it worked. Then I bought it from this Amazon distributor and it didn't work. How do I know? Because of how the "real" product works. The real product blocks up to 25% of the fat absorption. There should be floating oil in your bowel movements - this is the fat that you ate and was blocked.Now, when I ate a very fatty meal there was some. So I thought "what is the problem?" So I went to local drug store and bought a bottle of Alli. I took some of the pills apart from each. Both had what appeared to be the same content, but the Amazon purchased product had about half of the active ingredient. Then I held the pills up to the light yes the Amazon product had about half the filing of the locally purchased Alli.I don't know how that is possible, but that is what I experienced and discovered.I did begin a return but then I noticed it stated that the product must be in its unopened package - well I guess I got burned on this one.I depend upon other costumers ratings and darn it this time I didn't look at the ratings. Other costumers have had similar experiences. I didn't check the ratings because I have been using the product and already knew it works. Darn it!!

I had a high fat content meal yesterday. I took Alli 1 before and 1 after.Nothing happened. None of the side effects. I have been taking this product for two weeks and NOTHING.No orange oily stool, like has happened in the past when I have bought this product from local box stores.This product usually works very well. Too well. Ha!But, not the two bottles I bought from Amazon. I tried them both. This is a bad batch or a fake product.Do not buy from here. Go to Target or Walmart.I'm sorry Amazon, we have had a good relationship. But, this time, I feel like I've been duped.

Before I start this review, I am FULLY AWARE that this product is NOT labeled for use in individuals with "normal" or "healthy" BMI's. I am a very average 40 y/o woman with a healthy BMI. I'm actually in pretty good shape and I already eat quite healthy overall, but I have a stubborn 15 pounds that just doesn't want to budge with moderate caloric restriction and exercise alone. I decided to give alli a shot even though it says it won't work for people who have healthy BMI's. I figured, a fat blocker is a fat blocker and it should block fat in someone with a healthy BMI as well as someone who is obese, right? Well yes, it does indeed do that. The orange stains in my toilet and underwear can attest to that, but after taking it at full dosage for 2 months and eating a relatively low fat and low calorie/healthy diet, I didn't lose a single ounce with the addition of this supplement. Not one!I will say, the awful orange oily farts and bowel movements really only happen when you eat a meal with more than the recommended amount of fat. So those only happened to me once or twice a week. The rest of the time I didn't worry about side effects because I'm pretty good at sticking to a low fat diet and I track what I eat daily in my fitness pal. That being said, on meals where I would splurge a little, like date night dinner out, I was definitely punished for my sins by the angry orange bowel gods. And the other reviews are right when they say you can't trust your farts after you eat fat! You will regret it if you think it's just a little gas and you can let it out not on the toilet. BEWARE!So, to sum up my experience, I'm40 years old, 5'7" and about 152 pounds (should be around 135). I lift weights and am pretty active and healthy over all but have 15-20 pounds I would like to lose to be at my ideal weight. I tried alli at full recommended dose for 2 months and while I know it was working because of the orange oil in my stool, it did absolutely nothing for my waist line or the scale. I can't really fault the supplement itself because it was clearly not indicated for use by those wanting to lose 20 pounds or less, but I thought it was worth a try anyway.I sincerely hope this review has been helpful to someone else who is in the same boat and looking into this product! If you're not severely overweight, I recommend you save your money (and the mess in the toilet)! And yes, I paid full price for this! Feel free to ask any questions.

I bought this about a month ago to help with my premenstrual symptoms, as I get very intense food cravings a few days per month and I wanted something to help keep me on track during the times I don't eat as well as I should. Normally my meals dont contain enough fat to see visible results with this. Well, we had Dominos yesterday and as they all say, NEVER TRUST A FART!! Grease went through two layers of clothing and our nice bedsheets are currently in the wash. The amount of grease in the toilet was horrendously satisfying and I can now say with full confidence that THIS STUFF WORKS!! I'm equal parts thrilled and disgusted.

I have chosen to combine Weight Watchers FreeStyle program and Alli together. Alli makes me accountable to reading labels and making healthier choices, as does WW. Because quite frankly, who wants to experience the embarrassing "treatment effects" that I've read about!! Since starting both two weeks ago, I have had NO treatment effects, leakage, staining, ect. My first week I lost 4.5#'s. This week I'm down 3#. A Great healthy start!! What I notice more is, I'm losing inches more rapid than loss, which is great. It does make me pee quite often, which I believe it is breaking down waste and ridding me of it. People...there is no "magic pill", but there is help.
