Oltre che utile è anche una piacevole lettura.I drink trattati sono tutti twist on classic da parte dell’autore che valgono la pena di essere provati.Alla fine vi sono anche ricette di sciroppi, bitter e vermut vari home made.

AOC is one of our favorite restaurants and we've gotten to know Christian over the years simply by inquiring about his amazing cocktails. He's always been so generous with his recipes. Scribbling ingredients and directions for homemade stout syrup or taking the time to print out the correct recipe for his green goddess cocktail (because the one published in Bon Appetit wasn't quite right). We were really excited to buy his book and it does not disappoint. It's chock full of information about all kinds of spirits, barware, and garnishes. Every cocktail is fairly ambitious but if you like to experiment and learn some new techniques it's an essential cookbook. There are so many cocktail books on the market but this one takes an entirely unique approach from the tired "mixology" angle. Buy one for yourself and buy one as a gift for someone you love.

I bought this book as a present for my brother who is wanting to become a bartender. I inspected the content of the book before giving it to my brother and I was really impressed with the recipes and the detail put into it. This book is called Bar Chef for a reason. It's not just a recipe book. He goes in to detail on how to use each recipe. It's a great book for anyone who likes to make drinks at home. I'm seriously thinking about buying one for myself because I think I can actually make a cocktail with this book.My brother is completely thrilled and really impressed with the receipes and guidelines. I'm eager for him to to make me cocktail! :-)

This is a special book. The book was recommended by my son who had visited the restaurant in which the author of the book was the chief bartender. This is not your usual "run of the mill" drink recipe books. It is an engaging read and I enjoyed it every time I pick it up. The author is an engaging writer and a joy to read for the many offerings he has included in this book..I highly recommend this book to anyone who has any interest in creative bar recipes.

Easy to read, well written and a keeper or a great gift (with a bottle or two!). Well done!
