Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise was always the mayo of choice in my house when I was growing up. For about 2 months in the late 60s my mom decided she was going to make her own mayo. Neither I nor my 3 siblings could detect any difference in flavor- my dad couldn't either- but there sure was a difference in the money spent to keep the homemade mayo on hand! What more is there to say?

My favorite mayonnaise. I've been using this product since I was knee high to a grasshopper. I was so distressed when I moved to California back during the 1980's because I couldn't find Hellmans. Turns out Best Foods was Hellmans. It may just be my opinion, but there is no better mayo for me, I've tried others and they just don't compare. That's just my opinion, yours may differ...

Just moved from Chicago to Hawaii and no one here sells Hillmann's. My wife did not like the brands we could get.So thanks to Prime she now has Hillmann's. We had to wait a couple of weeks, even with prime, but she/we are now happy.At first, I thought she was being silly BUT it does taste better than any of the brands available here - I have to agree with her.

My mother always said "Buy Hellman's". That was many many years ago.. I've tried other mayonnaise and she's still right: (Hellman's in the East; Best Foods here in the West); it's the best for taste and consistency.

texture tast ws fine ??could they have frozen along theway?

The pair of containers received includes one with dents of about one quarter of its volume, therefore I am suspicious of spoilage. Was informed on website that this product is "not returnable." Not acceptable.
