Keeps draft out.
I am a single person living in a 3 bedroom house. I needed to close off the draft from the 2 other rooms not being used because the insulation in my house sucks. It works. and the covering is machine washable.

I like that it was so easy to install. I had to move the door mat so it didn’t roll it up and it prevents the door from automatically closing behind me. Works well!
