Joseph Joseph20046 Green And White Ice Cream Scoop Multi Color

This was the third scoop I bought. The previous two were style over substance, flaking and pitting after very little use. This one is still going strong 2 years after purchase and is a dream to use. It scoops the ice cream out in satisfying curls time after time, and then gets popped into the dishwasher, and comes out smiling. A very good investment, and a good tool that works as it should. Highly recommended.

I’ve been a bit disillusioned with Joseph Joseph.Sometimes they release some real crap that rusts and their guarantee is pretty poor too but this Ice Cream scoop is spot on!Nice grip (The wife has arthritis in her fingers and she loves the soft grip)I love the drip catcher too.Had this for a bit and no sign of rusting.It’s dish washer safe as well!End of the day it’s hard to rave about an ice cream scoop and it is expensive but the quality is there to be seen and felt.My advice is this (If you want it) end of the day it’s a scoop, simple really.But you’re paying for the quality and ‘Prestige’ of having Joseph Joseph on the tool then of course It’ll do what your cheaper scoop will do but just more expensive because of the name and drip catcher.But it’s better quality in feel and will probably last longer.My verdict is go for this one, but it’s up to you.As I said, the quality is there to be felt and seen.

This is perfect for people like me who would bend spoons trying to get ice cream out of the carton rather than waiting until it softened. It may be a bit more expensive, but worth every penny. Very solid construction, looks good and can be put in the dishwasher. Can't fault it.

Very disappointed with this item. It was bought after many other so-called stainless steel scoops which all turned out to be chrome and all pitted and corroded. I thought maybe zinc would be better but this was not the case. After less than two months and only modest use this scoop has also started to mark and pit.

It’s a scoop. Easy to hold and grip when dishing out ice cream. It gets 3 stars as I was not expecting the white rubber ring around the handle to move up toward the scoop. Once this happened I was able to move it back, however it would not stay in place. Had to return. The replacement is fine although I do see an inkling that it may do the same again - so 2 stars off for sturdiness. Very nice to look at though (you’re paying more for the brand name than the product itself).
