MonteverdeBottle Ink, 90ml, Olivine (G308Ol)

It's a nice ink, good teal color with red sheen, flows well from the pen. Price is good too. Might take a little longer to clean as it's saturated but that is the same case with all sheening inks. A must have ink for fountain pens in one's collection.

I regularly use Waterman ink and this time I just tried this one. First impression Ohh it's good for the price and nice colour. Not thick and vibrant as waterman the price justify it, so okay. Compared to other brands the ink flow is good.

Beautiful and theee best green color nice shades the only problem is it's wet ink so if you use ordinary paper it won't be a good ink, if you have good quality paper then this ink must be on your desk as a collection.

The bottle arrived well-protected and came with a seal around the cap. The cap however, was so tight that i struggled to removed the lid (used two different types of lid grippers). Finally, I had to resort to heating the plastic cap with a bit of hot. tap water to get the cap to turn. But once I inked up my pen and was finally able to test the ink, I loved it! The color is a lovely cool-toned medium brown. The ink flows well with good legibility (I used a medium nib). However, the ink may bleed through slightly on some papers. I only own two bottles of Monteverde inks and the other ink (Olivine) does the same thing (bleeds a little, but only on certain papers), so I'm not sure if this is a trait of Monteverde inks or if the issue depends on the color, but I still really adore this unique ink! Great value!

This was the first ink I ever bought, and not having a sense of scale, I decided to get the 90 mL bottle. This was a big mistake. The bottle is huge, and I don't see how I can ever get through the entire thing in a single lifetime. I've started lending it to friends to make up for it.As for the ink itself, it's fairly good. A nice blue (I've found it to be very similar to the blue in Pentel Energel pens), with a nice wet flow. It is completely unremarkable in every way, and that's not a bad thing. If you want a reliable, professional-looking blue that is more focused on being functional than being eye catching, then I couldn't recommend it enough.
