I have used this over milk paint and latex, and the results are amazing. It is very important that your topcoat is fully cured before attempting to apply glaze. There are a variety of ways to apply this product which all produce different results. Some of the options include sealing or not before application, sealing or not sealing after application, and scuffing or sanding before or after application for example. It might be advisable to review these instructions on the can and even do a test area if you are interested in the different possible looks.

Goes on smooth. Perfect color. Dries pretty fast.

I was nervous about trying this for distressing two nightstands I was working on. I had only helped my daughter do some distressing on top of her bedroom furniture she had redone with waxes. After some research I decided to go with this glaze instead of the wax as in the future it can be sanded and repainted without too much trouble vs. the wax that would be more work to change. My nightstands turned out great - even with myself being a beginner at this! I am now hooked! Used it to distress some signs I had made and now am looking for more projects to try it out on. It is so easy to adjust the amount of distressing. I found a damp cloth removing the glaze for a less glazed look works great. Then if I take too much off I just put more on and wipe off again. Definitely a great product!

Love the color this gave. Layered it on top of a milk paint. I get so many compliments on my table and plan to paint more with it! Thin paint and easy to work with. Very pigmented for the thickness

I redid my kitchen cabinets. I love how they turned out. Took some time to learn how to wipe, and how quick to wipe for the outcome I was looking for. But in the end the cabinets turned out beautifully.
