Airbrush DepotBrand Airbrush Compressor AIR Regulator wit

Works well enough if you have some information first.
It works as advertised, but not without some research. This thing is kind of janky but it seems to work ok- I say that because I've been through two of them- the first one I broke myself over tightening the knob because there is ZERO documentation on how to install or operate the regulator, but hey great book on How to Airbrush (eyeroll). It's cheap (you get what you pay for) so I bought a second and have some tips.1. The connections on the body are 1/4" BSP thread. If you are using NPT fittings from your compressor you'll need an adapter.2. There is a tiny arrow triangle on the body, which indicates the direction of airflow. The reduced pressure air controlled by the knob comes out on the side the arrow is pointing at.3. You must pull the outside of the knob UP in order to adjust.4. Turning the knob CLOCKWISE turns down the pressure.5. The gauge requires back pressure to indicate. You must have the output side hooked up to something (an airbrush) or it will just read zero.6. Use Teflon tape on all connections.7. This thing is all plastic and as such is fragile- take care when tightening the fittings.

Excellent!!
Got this in today and WOW! What a difference!! I was using a small mini compressor with a max output of 18 psi. Bought this and hooked it up to my shop compressor and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! No instructions, but follow the arrow and you will have no problem. I do suggest using Teflon tape on all male connections. This will reduce the chance of air leaks. Also, be gentle when attaching hoses, etc. some parts are plastic. No need to over do it. Hand tighten and then a quarter turn or so with a wrench should suffice. Great addition to my newly found airbrush hobby! I highly recommend.

Good product
Well made good quality, arrived promptly, well packaged thank you. The ports are not labeled in and out oor in any way at all. I used the center one for the gauge mounting after wrapping the threads with white teflon plumbers tape. The right hand side is for the air outlet and the left hand side is for the air inlet. There were no instructions.

Good unit, but make sure you have teflon tape.
Nice unit you get what you pay for. I wrapped Teflon tape around the male fittings about 5 times, this sealed the fittings. I then applied soap water to the fittings, no air leaks. If you are not familiar with Teflon tape, wrap it in a clockwise direction so it "lays" down when tightening.Make sure to wrap the guage as well.

and while it does let me make fine adjustments to air pressure
Have been using this to airbrush for a couple months, and while it does let me make fine adjustments to air pressure, the gage is worthless for reading minute adjustments. I usually work between 5 and 20psi. Other than 0 and 20, you are stuck reading a bunch of marks. Impossible to read. Worthless. You are pretty much left using feel to make small adjustments. Used 7 psi last time? Hope you remember what that feels like. Should have tried to find some better pictures. It also needs re-adjusted if I fill up my compressors tank in the middle of a session. Maybe this is normal for regulators.Make sure to use thread tape and you will have no leaks. There are very few options out there when it comes to these. I can put up with it for now. But if you need to fine tune your airflow you will need to spend more
