Excellent, without question! The pieces arrived within 72 hours of purchase. They were well packaged for damage prevention. I was curious to compare the artifact with the poorest reviews here, but I was very impressed that it runs in line with the highest ratings here!The pieces are of solid wood and stained to provide a very vintage quality. Both, stand and base are finely sanded. All contours are smooth. The stand has a bulbous end which was added and affixed to the wooden pole, by the manufacturer. This bulbous end is solid to the pole and is round to balance any helmet you may have or will have. The bottom of the pole terminates with an engraved screw. This screwed on perfectly to the base itself and is firm.The overall feel and quality is firm, solid, and capable of the substantial weight of any steel helmet.As a collector of weaponry, owner of a vintage WWII German manufactured M40 helmet, and of the unique - and well made - variant of the casque worn by Henry II of France ['Golden Knight Helmet by SZCO Supplies. - sold through Amazon.'], I strongly urge any collector to make multiple investments in this high-quality wood product, as I will myself.

the product arrived on time and well packed but only one of the three stands I purchased was able to be assembled. The remaining two posts did not fit properly into their base. I gave this product one star only because of the fact that 2/3's of the stands I ordered came defective. The one stand that did work I would give four stars. The top of the post is small which makes the helmet on it rock back and forth with little coaxing, a liner of some sort will most likely prevent the wobble. Asthectically it looks nice with a helmet or hat on it and it looks at home on a table or book shelf. I plan on returning the two defective stands, if their replacements can be assembled I will update my rating of this product.UPDATE; I received the two replacement helmet stands a little over two weeks after I returned them. The customer service was good and the replacements were shipped promptly. When the stands arrived, they fit together perfectly. If I need a helmet stand(s)in the future I will purchase more of this model again.

This is a decent stand. It is stained in a dark stain but the craftsmanship could have been a little more finessed. No real complaints as the stand is not the focal point. The helmet on the stand is. However, having said that, the stand has to not stick out (in a bad way) and this one does not so it serves its purpose.If you need to display a helmet, these stands will definitely fit the bill and are sturdy.

There were a few other stands to look at and I wasn't sure which one to get. I bought this one and am very happy. The rod itself is threaded and screws directly into the base. I know on other stands there are small screws which customers have complained about not holding or coming out. Because the rod screws directly in I am sure it will stand tall for years to come. I thought people may want to know for their future purchases.

This is a cute stand that holds my helmet perfectly. I have no complaints but plan to add glowing eyes to it so when my helmet is hung it looks like the devil is inside.Recommended for its cheapness and general quality.

I was looking to try to create my own stand for several helmets that I have. When I saw this stand I decided to give it a try. I absolutely would be happy to use this same style for the different helemts I have and plan to have.

A very simple device to hold and display your warrior helmet. The photo makes it look far better than what you actually get. with a little time and effort the piece can improved.

Good price works great. I put the helmet on it once and it has held it solid without a single slip. I never come in and have to adjust it.
