Best Value for a Gaming Keyboard
I've had this keyboard for more than a year now. I wanted to get some sort of keyboard both to keep my laptop docked while at home and for gaming, so I wanted something that felt good for typing and gaming. This keyboard does both quite well. I really enjoy typing on this keyboard, and it alone has changed my preference from low profile keys, such as those found on my laptop, to a more standard raised design. I've never had any issues typing on the keyboard for writing papers or programming. Though the WASD keys are a different color than the rest of the keys, I don't notice the difference. The backlighting is a delight to have, because the lower brightness setting is plenty for my apartment when it's not day time or I have the lights on. The MW3 logo is not distracting at all to me. The keyboard also does well with gaming. I play mostly RTS games, with some MOBAs and Action types of games thrown in, and I've never had any problems with input no matter how quickly or frequently I use hotkeys or other commands. I've not used the programmable function/G keys as much as I thought I would, but I don't feel like that's been a loss. Some of the command programming took me a little tweaking to get right, this being my first programmable keyboard, and for some games I was not able to get things working quite how I envisioned. I'm not sure if this is a fault of ignorance on my part or if the software doesn't work as well with certain games, but I've never encountered any kind of game breaking error. I've not experimented with the Windows Key lock either, as I've never had an issue with clicking it in game in the first place. In terms of reliability, I've been using this almost daily for close to 18 months now, and I have had no issues with performance or durability. If anything, the distinction between brightness levels has actually improved. It was difficult to distinguish the low and high lighting when I started using the board, but the difference is clear now. I think that about covers all I have to say about the keyboard. Overall, I think this keyboard is an absolute steal. I got this while it was still at the $35-40 price, and it looks like a new model is out without the MW3 logo for that same price. I know that there are higher end boards available that would certainly pass this in terms of raw performance, especially with programmable keys, but if you want something that will give you a gaming boost for under $80, I can't imagine any other option as good as this one. This is most definitely the greatest technology purchase I've ever made in terms of performance and durability for price. *** Do note, of course, that this MW3 version appears to be back at its original price, so the newer version listed by Amazon would be a better value. ***

Best keyboard I've had in a couple of decades.
I love keyboards, I have many. At $28 this keyboard is an insane deal. The back lit keys are great for gaming, what really gets me to rate it at a 5-star though, is what happens when I start writing an email on this thing. The click of the keys is just great. I am sure there are better keyboards on planet earth, I have to believe that (keep the hope alive). Now, for the thirty dollar range though. Wow to the wow. I've been slumming for no reason. MW3 edition wise, I can say that I believe this is well worth the juvenile logos on your keyboard. I was a little offended by the look of it from the pictures but actually looks just fine and just fun. I got the the COD MW3 logitech mouse and that is just as great and again a great way of getting a great deal on better hardware than their prices would suggest. Also, the fact that they match... it helps cosmetically. Like, they look like a set and it really helps the look quite a bit. The green lights from the mouse match the green of the keys. I wasn't too excited about getting green back lighting but now that I have it, I wouldn't change it. Goes great with games, doesn't look hostile like red does. So I'm pretty much a big fan. My only hesitation is that in writing this positive review for this product I'm sure is unfairly priced low due to clearance, I'm going to help it sell out and then I won't be able to buy more of them. I'm tempted to buy spares, of both the keyboard and the mouse. If the price were any lower it would actually cost me a whole lot because I'd buy so many of them. The reflection from the monitor reflects on the keys enough that the gray WASD keys actually stand out just great. Overall, just great. Has obvious shortcomings, like a detachable palm rest would be sweet possibly (although I love the small footprint). USB hub functionality would be nice. And last but not least: there should absolutely be dedicated (small) media keys. There's just no doubt in my mind that there's plenty of real estate above the F-keys to where a few general use keys would have been sweet (volume up, volume down, mute). There's a soft-touch feel to the keys, feels just great. Hope it lasts. Also the mouse, get the mouse. Whole computer just feels fancier. Good luck.

great gaming keyboard for the price!
I think this keyboard is definitely worth buying because the price is great! You are essentially getting a more expensive keyboard at a discounted price simply because of the COD:MW3 branding. Personally, I am not bothered the MW3 label at all, and I never notice it while gaming because I'm too focused on the game! Some people have mentioned either covering it with a sticker, black marker, or even scratching it off, but I personally didn't feel it necessary to do anything like that. Pros: - Great price - Green LED backlighting actually looks really cool - No ghosting of keys while gaming - Keys are easy to press with good feedback; not too stiff nor soft. Also not super loud, which is nice. Cons: - The "G keys" are a bit too close to the left edge of the keyboard for my liking. Although it happens rarely, I do sometimes accidentally end up pressing the G6 key when I want to hit Ctrl. It's a minor annoyance that occurs usually when I'm trying to use shortcuts in various programs. It doesn't really happen when I'm gaming, and I think that's because my fingers are already in the proper "gaming position", whereas in non-gaming situations my fingers are further away on the home row and thus I overshoot the Ctrl key and hit the G6 key when I'm in a hurry. - The backlighting could be a little brighter in my opinion. It's decent in a dark room, but not so much if you have the lights on. Also, I've noticed that my 24" monitor is a bit bright in a dark room and the light from the screen dims the backlighting from the keyboard slightly. However, the brightness of the backlighting also has to do with my next point... - The tilt angle of the keyboard should be a little higher when using the stands on the underside of the keyboard. If the keyboard was a little higher, the green LED light would be easier to see due to the better angle, and thus would be more beneficial. Not a major issue, though. - There is no included wrist pad (wrist rest). It is a minor annoyance, and probably helps with keeping the cost down a little, but what is even more annoying is that the bottom of the keyboard is not perfectly straight! Instead, their is a curve under the middle section where the Logitech logo is located. While this makes the logo look nice, it's extremely annoying because you can't put a regular foam wrist pad under the keyboard easily! The curve either makes it stick out too far away from the keyboard, or you have to keep it at an angle, which will only provide comfort for one wrist!! Not cool at all! It would've been better to just put the Logitech logo somewhere near the top of the keyboard. Some people have mentioned that there are slots on the underside that might be used to connect a wrist pad that is sold separately, but I don't know anything about that. - The media keys that work through the "Function" key are not backlit! They are simply painted/printed onto the bottom side of the keys. It's not a problem in the daytime, but in the dark you can't see them at all. I personally don't use the media keys very often, if at all, so it's not a big deal for me. But I wanted to mention it in case you do use them often, that way it's not a surprise when they don't light up with the orange-ish color that they are painted with. Durability: - Keyboard seems well-built. However, after only a few days of gaming, I noticed that the space bar sometimes makes a loud sound when pressed. It's the type of sound you hear from an old, heavily used keyboard, or one that is cheaply made. I wasn't expecting it to happen to this keyboard, especially not so soon. It doesn't happen every time I hit the space bar, but it definitely is noticeable when playing game like Firefall that require heavy use of the space bar in-game. If you game with headphones, then you probably will never hear it even if it does happen to your keyboard, so I wouldn't worry about it. Extra features/functions: - I haven't tried installing the software from the Logitech site to use the macro keys, nor the G keys. I'm sure they probably work fine, but I can't comment as I have no personal experience with them. Overall, I think this keyboard is a great value for the money! The cons I have listed are only minor in reality. I wrote more about the cons in order to give an accurate review of any issues encountered as I could for any other potential buyers thinking about getting this keyboard. If you are looking for a nice gaming keyboard and don't want to spend a lot of money, then this is the one for you!

LIGHTS CAMERA ACTION ! POWERFUL TERRIFIC AWESOME !
WOW ... totally luv it ... in viewing the pics on the site it kinda dont look like it has much light ... was I wrong ... there r 3 settings ... off ... low .. and high for the light .. yes its blue but a pretty blue and it dont blare out at u like other products does ... its perfect for the eyes ... what amazed me the most was its ease .. comfort .. and totally light of blue thats sooooo cool ... and the other thingy that I was most impressed about ... the package does NOT include the software .. however if u use windows ... Microsoft has a driver just for this keyboard .. BUT ... if u go to Logitech site ... find your keyboard .. u will also find THEIR perfect driver that contains MORE than what Microsoft delivers down to you ... what u have to do is register your keyboard product on their site ... meaning u have to make an account if u dont have one yet .. DO IT ! ... u can only download their drivers if u have an account that is the reason ... once u have your account ... u can then download their driver for this keyboard ... yes its a cool driver BUT it has more ... with the driver is also a program that can run at startup or not your choice .. what is it .. it is a program designed just for THIS keyboard only ... what does it do ... it checks your hard drive on your computer .. finding all the games u have ... u see .. this is a gaming keyboard .. and its powerful ... the downloaded program with the driver has settings u can choose for the hot keys just for your particular game ... for instance .. if u have Skyrim .. yeap its there and pretty neat .. and most all the other games as well ... hot keys at your lighted touch and fast fast fast ... pretty awesome piece of equipment this keyboard ... surprising was the driver and software u download .. totally awesome .. especially if u play games .. this is a MUST keyboard .. and totally awesome with the lights ... Great Keyboard and Fantastic Value!
I had been looking for a keyboard and mouse to replace my 7 year old Belkin Ergo one, and my Logitech G5. My keyboard was worn out and not working correctly but the mouse was doing fine. I had been looking at mechanical keyboards but I could not afford them at the current time. Thank goodness I found this. I had wanted a back lit keyboard and this is awesome. The G-keys and software are really nice, although I have not used the G-keys yet. I will be shortly. I like the "Call of Duty" series so the small painting on the keyboard does not bother me. It is well done and not over-bearing. The keys are very quiet and have a nice feel to them (I'm typing this on them now). I like how the keyboard tilts up in the back, which is the way I have it set up. I like the green LED color. You can see it clearly, and its not too bright on the highest setting, which is where I have it set. I also like the light grey "wasd" and arrow keys. I liked the keyboard so much I purchased the Logitech G9x Call of Duty MW3 edition mouse. I was somewhat worried because I read its not great for palm grips which I think is what I use. Well let me just say I should not have worried, as it is the most comfortable and best mouse I have ever used. I like it WAY better than my G5 and I loved the G5. As others have said, be thankful for the "Call of Duty" marking even if you don't play the game. That marking saves you money. This keyboard is well made and I am very happy with it.

A perfect low end keyboard for work or the beginner/casual gamer
I purchased this keyboard primarily for gaming (StarCraft 2) and immediately fell in love. It is far superior to any other standard keyboards out there. Eventually after a year of use I had upgraded my PC and decided to upgrade the keyboard as well to a Razer Blackwidow and moved this keyboard to my job and use it now for work only. This keyboard is by far a great purchase for anyone who is just starting out in gaming or is looking for something better to use for work. The keys are much lighter than an average keyboard and soft to touch so prolonged typing does not where out your fingers and knuckles. I suffered from pain in my fingers due to so much typing at my job but this keyboard cleared that right up. The light sensitivity of the keys makes it faster to type as well. It is not mechanical so it is much quitter than a mechanical keyboard as well and when compared to a standard mechanical, the key strokes are shorter. It is a very solid keyboard and has taken several drops, it can take just about whatever abuse can be thrown at it. The lighting is dim and you can't tell the keyboard is lit up during the day, but you aren't really looking at the keyboard when typing anyway so I don't really mind. The G keys feel just far enough away that you don't lose your place with your left hand when reaching for them and programing them is simple through either the software that is easily downloadable or just hitting the memory record button. Long story short, this keyboard has paid for itself twice. The year that I used it for gaming was completely satisfactory and the 7 months that I have now used it for work have made it one of my best purchases in years. My hands feel much better, my typing errors have decreased and my speed has increased. I would highly recommend it for a casual gamer or someone looking for something better for work. If you are a hardcore gamer then you probably wish to look for something higher priced, but for everyone else, this keyboard is for you. (side note, I switched to the Razer Blackwidow Ultimate because I wanted full mechanical and my apm for SC2 was suffering with the G105. The G105 is simply not fast enough for high level gaming. I love the Razer but I think the keys would be too loud to take to work and I would not recommend the Razer for work.)

Great Keyboard, but now it has a sandy rough feel that irritates the skin during use.
I bought this Keyboard because I have one already and love it. With these kinds of products, and how fast Logitech comes out with new stuff, I decided to purchase another as a backup. That being said, the G105 is great. It is a perfect keyboard for the price, it has a back light for the keys and my original is comfortable to use. My original G105 has a smooth feel to the touch, however now the new G105 has this weird lightly rough, sandy feel to it, that over time of use actually sands and irritates the skin on my wrists. Why would Logitech change from smooth to this awful tact feel? I love this keyboard so much, I am actually planning to take all of the keys out, disassemble the board, and try some very fine grit wet sand paper to sand this off. The sand feel is not stated in any descriptions of the product.

A few months ago, I purchased this Logitech G105 920-003371 Gaming Keyboard to upgrade from an older keyboard for my gaming PC. I was looking for a keyboard with some extra function keys for gaming purposes, but I also didn’t want to break the bank doing it. So this product would be for anyone looking to start getting into gaming, or just for anyone wanting to game on a budget, as it is fairly basic, in terms of gaming keyboards This keyboard satisfies all of my qualifications. It has six extra functions keys on the left side, which is more than enough for most games. Also, the keys overall feel great and are extremely responsive with a slow propensity of sticking, which can be a problem with some keyboards. If the keys ever do start to have problems with sticking, or the keyboard is just getting dirty in general, it is also very easy to clean. This is because it is very easy to pop the keys in and out of their seating, and so far, I have not noticed and wear or loose keys as a result of this. This keyboard also has some other fun features that don’t really affect performance. The first one is that all of the keys have a backlight on them. This could be useful if you are working in a dark space, but mostly the lighting is for cosmetic reasons. The keyboard also has a “gaming” switch on it. Pressing this will let the keyboard know you are playing a game, and it will keep you from accidentally opening a background program with the keyboard while you are gaming. While this is not an issue I ever run into, some people may, so this may be a good feature for you. The overall quality of this keyboard is excellent, especially for the price, which was around fifty dollars. As the more high-end keyboards can go for hundreds of dollars, I am quite pleased with how well this keyboard has been working out for me. So if you are looking to get in to PC gaming and don’t want to break the bank, this keyboard would be a good place to start.

gaming keyboard
good keyboard. i like the fell of the key they fell sturdy and yet are easy to press. the keys are big enough yet are close enough to roam free on the keyboard for writing or gaming. for those who prefer a sensitive keyboard, light press, keep away, as each key need a good press without having to hammer it. let just say that you wont press, by accident, a button by resting your hand on the keyboard

I was looking for a solid quality keyboard with programmable keys and back lighting capability for general purpose typing. I am not a gamer and so I can't really comment on how well it is suited for gaming. There may be better gaming keyboards available but it is perfect for my needs.

Does for me pretty much everything I need
Does for me pretty much everything I need. I previously had a G19 which means this was technically a downgrade. However, since my G19 was broken I wanted something cheap to replace it as I didn't like the new G19 replacement (Orion Spark?). I've had this keyboard for quite a while now. Some of the keys seem to stick just a little but that's likely from crap being under them or some other external factor. The feeling of the key pressing is not to bad, it's a pretty average keyboard and keeps the macro keys which is what I wanted.Having a back light was important to me as well, you can not however change the color, but blue was fine in my situation. You can dim it though. One issue I noticed was the GAME MODE button, which the G19 had as well. On the G105 it's a button, the the G19 it was a slider. The problem with this is after every reboot you have to reactive game mode as it is not a held down toggle. This to me could have been fixed by making that key a latching key rather then a standard key. A bit of a disappointment. Otherwise a pretty good keyboard.
