BioLitePowerLight Mini Wearable Light and Power Bank, Grey

I am an avid camper who has several other BioLite products, so I was already familiar with the superior functionality and design of what they put out. I am also a year round, all weather cyclist. I was noticing that my regular rechargeable led bike lights just didn't seem bright enough. Other brands make lights that are just as bright, and rechargeable, for a similar price point but don't have the same multi-functionality as these. They are super bright, and being able to flash in two colours and dim is a huge plus. I use them around the house regularly, as mini-flood lights or as flashlights and as a phone charger. They have survived snow and rain, and hold a charge for a long time. The mounting brackets are pretty solid and I could pop the lights in and out of them even in -10 Celsius weather with gloves. Just make sure that you hear the "click" when you put them in the mounting brackets. They stayed locked in even after (unexpectedly) hitting a few deep city street potholes. BioLite is an amazing company doing amazing things around the world (check out their website). Their customer service is also top-notch. One of the units I purchased stopped working unexpectedly. I contacted them, and the issue was resolved within a week. I have had no issues with the new unit. I recommend their products to everyone I know and look forward to what they have coming up in the future.

Great light. Ambient and local space light that is easy to see in. Wire stand and clip allows for multiple placements and hooks to straps and pockets. Good emergency battery charging feature.Waiting for the next version with the same size and more battery storage.

Great unit, works as it should, useable as a camping lantern, bike light, and great for charging my phone. The only two things that keep me from giving it 5 stars:- I concur with the other reviewer that the rubber cover for the USB ports gets in the way of the wire stand. This was an easy design flaw to avoid.- the wire clip / stand is flimsy and not secure. I had to buy a new one after I lost the first due to the light slipping off the back of my bag while hiking. From now on, I will secure the other end of the clip with a rubber band or something. Annoying that I have to do it.But it's still a great product. Buying multi-purpose items is the way to go when you're trying to travel light.

Kurzum: ich liebe dieses kleine LED-Licht und habe es bei allen Rucksackreisen dabei. Es ist klein und robust verbaut. Die Lichtausbeute mit über 100 Lumen ist klasse. Sobald man einmal das 1-Knopf-Bediensystem verstanden hat, ist es kindereinfach. Der Clip ist super, um die Lampe ans Fahrrad zu machen oder auch an einem Stativ anzubringen. Denn ich benutze die Biolite auch als Videolampe für eine Action Cam. Da die LEDs nicht flackern und man sie auch abdimmen kann, eignet es sich perfekt, um dunkle Räume zum Filmen auszuleuchten. Auch leuchtet die Lampe weiter, während man sie via Powerbank auflädt, was z.B. die Biolite Solar nicht kann.Ein Manko: Die Batterie hält längst nicht so lange, wie versprochen, und die Ladeanzeige ist sehr inakurat. Ich habe es mit einer Stoppuhr getimed - 3h bei voller Leuchtkraft; danach regelt es die Lichtstärke herunter und es sind dann ca 5h drin. Jedoch schafft es nicht, wie in der Werbung versprochen, die 5h mit voller Leuchtkraft.

Switch difficult to operate. Bought 3 of these. One easy to use, one difficult. One unacceptable. Bio lite is an interesting innovative company. This is the second time I have purchased these flashlights. If you get a good one they are fine, but you have just as good a chance to get a poor one. Quality control is poor.
