Getting Critical

I too, can be a critical thinker.
I can see how these little books have been popular. Some of my dyslexic traits make reading and comprehension difficult. I really need to get to grips with critical thinking for my MA. After reading this the first time I have been itching to get stuck in to my studies. I have however, read it from cover to cover before acting on the guides. I have been pleasantly surprised at how much I already do, but I just don't do it in a structured manner. 'Getting Critical' has made me feel positive about my ability and I look forward to implementing the strategies. I also have 'Reflective Writing' and will be reading that later during this semester. I will be ordering more in this series. I think they will probably be more expensive than buying one book to cover a selection of the topics, but feel it is worth it, as they are so nonthreatening and easy to pick up. My only thought (not criticism) would be that I wish they were on Kindle. Then I could carry a whole set around with me. My next 'Pocket Study Skills' book will be 'Studying with Dyslexia', I can't wait.

I like all Palgrave Macmilla study series
This is an excellent book for the introduction of Critical Appraisal. This book and its series are written for people with limited time or newcomer for a new subject. I am going to buy all the pocket series. I loved it!

Pretty good
Part of a amazon bundle order for study skills. A nice happy book for guiding the young student on how to get into critical results from what he is reading , a good way to understand and report in a omniaspect witout getting into emotional traps . very nice design and nice methodology. simple language and vocabulary 3/5

A good guide to critical thinking
If you're a student and unsure about your critical analysis, this is a good, brief guide to getting it right. Very helpful without having to wade through pages and pages of text.
