Solid outdoor speakers at a very competitive price
I purchased the white Polk Atrium 6 speakers after comparing several brands including Bose and Yamaha. As an aside, I am predisposed to purchase Bose first (I still rock my Bose 901s), but the price point and reviews for Polk's Atrium 6 were unbeatable. As it turns out, I am very pleased with my purchase. The Atrium 6 speakers were very easy to install single handedly, and fit perfectly under the soffit that is overtop of my outdoor deck. They compliment my decor and trim, which is also white. Sound-wise, they play a nicely balanced bass and treble with no equalization, and the sound projects quite well into the yard when the volume is turned up. Their construction seems to be rock-solid and made with quality materials. I think they will last quite some time. I do believe the tonal balance is sensitive to placement, and the closer the speakers are mounted to a back wall or overhang (they are ported speakers), the stronger the bass will be - this is quite well explained in the installation instructions and for my taste, installing them against a back wall and under an overhand provides a very good tonal balance at moderate sound levels. Once again, for the price I paid, this speaker is truly hard to beat, and I can definitely recommend them for outdoor listening.

Great performing outdoor speakers. The "Power Port" bass reflex is worth it!
Very happy with these Atrium 6 speakers. Installation: The mounting bracket design makes it very easy to keep the speaker in place when securing it with the side knobs. I was doing a ceiling mount and did not have to worry about the speaker falling while trying to secure it. The brackets are also very heavy duty. Performance: I'm running these on an Arylic A50+, and it gives them plenty of power to sound great (side note for Arylic users: the Go Control app gives much better audio control with a Deep Bass option. I found Deep Bass set to 15% gives them the right amount of bass without overdriving). They have a very balanced sound overall -- especially considering I have them in a pool room where there are a lot of reflective surfaces that could make some speakers sound harsh.
