Bought for burn survivor now the only soap he will use, wonderful product.
One of my sons is a burn survivor. He was burned over 50% of his body and has skin grafts and scarring covering that area. When he was released from the hospital he had a lot of issues with his scarred areas and finding products that didn’t cause more problems. The grafted skin behaves differently than “normal skin” and a lot of products dry the skin out and cause irritation. He found a soap that was designed for and by a burn survivor that he used for a while with some success. He tried lotions but they didn’t absorb well and would make him feel sticky or oily. I did some reading and found that Emu oil was considered to be a really good product for people with issues with their skin. He tried Emu oil by itself but go figure it was too oily! Lol I ordered this soap and bought him a few bars. He has used nothing else for the last six years. He loves this soap. It doesn’t have a scent which is good since that’s just another thing to irritate his skin. It works great for cleansing and keeps his skin moisturized without the oily/sticky lotion issues. As I have gotten older I have very dry skin so recently I started using this soap. It is amazing. I can’t believe I didn’t think of trying it sooner. It has taken away my problems with dry itchy skin. I would highly recommend this soap for everyone it’s a really great product.

... skin rash (worse than poison ivy) that itched her like crazy back in May
Bought this for my mother somehow got this weird dark reddish purple skin rash (worse than poison ivy) that itched her like crazy back in May. She came to me crying in Sept that it was getting worse, she was embarrassed, and no medications they tried (steroids, topical creams etc) worked. It kept spreading & darkening. They biopsied it (large ugly scars from that to top it all off and determined it was "generalized erythematous granuloma annular." The dermatologists and other specialist told her she would not be able to get rid of the dark purple staining - she was scarred and wanted to put her on some more medications as they didn't know what else to do. I started researching online homeopathic treatments and others stories and read about the EMU oil. I bought these soap bars for her along with the oil and I am not exaggerating in any way when I say its been a miracle! By Thanksgiving it cleared up and has nearly all faded away! Her doctors were amazed and asked what she did. This saved her. She had been mortified as her entire body arms, legs, chest neck was being devoured by this hideous dark rash that they said would permanently stain her skin (imagine wearing a turtleneck in summer?) Thank you people who share info and experiences to help others. I'm paying it fwd. Here is what we read and did with the soap bars: Vitamin E, Emu oil, and/or Tea Tree oil (applied topically) - combine all 3 to apply topically- but she only did that at night as the smell is too much for work. The Emu oil alone seems to work so she continues to bathe with the bars but stopped all the other topical things and has no reoccurrence. I hope that we will eventually figure out what the heck this is, and how to treat it!Last night I read about someone using a mixture of Tea Tree Oil/Vitamin E/Emu Oil in equal amounts. I only had the Tea Tree Oil and Emu oil, so I mixed them in equal amounts and applied it to my hands. The itching intensified! I decided to apply more Emu oil, (a couple of times) and just kept rubbing it in gently. After about 10 minutes the itching subsided enough that I could do other things. This morning there is a noticeable difference in how the GA looks! Much less red and raised. No itch. Wow! I am going to get the Vit E today and add it to the mix, and will use 2 times a day (or maybe more).

Ingredients! Not sure of....Tea Tree Oil
This is called EMU OIL SOAP. Does not say Tea Tree Oil anywhere. Ingredients list may not be inconclusive, inaccurate in Ad. Dealing with Contact Dermatitis (severe) and Tea Tree Oil may NOT be a good thing in this soap. It can be an "irritant" -- But is it in this soap? The soap is very drying for most complaints. I would like an answer from the company for them to post ALL ingredients. The public has nothing to go by without products describing ALL FULL INGREDIENTS on their products. When it comes to the biggest organ in the body - THE SKIN - We need to know how to take care of it...how to eliminate causes that in our times are chemicals, perfumes, and such. I am sure tea tree oil is not bad (in its place), but may be irritant to severe itching dermatitis.

Love this soap
I have used emu oil some I the past and like it's soothing qualities (like to relieve sunburn). I thought I would take a chance on the soap. I am very happy with it. There is no scent (I'm allergic to fragrances). The soap lathers and leaves me feeling very clean and my skin soft.

Best ever for moisturizing!
Emu oil is the most moisturizing oil there is. This soap is a great companion for those using oil directly on your face. Wash your face and follow up with emu oil. During the day you might want to use less than at night. At night you don’t have to worry about a shiny face so smear it all over. Your skin never feels dry. If it does you’re not using enough.
