Mein arabischer Mann war extrem enttäuscht und hatte eher das Gefühl, dass die arabische Küche hier eher verschandelt wird.Außerdem interessiert es uns kaum, wie die Familie der Autorin aussieht - man bekommt sie aber auf jeder 2. Seite ins Gesicht gestoßen. Hat für uns kaum was mit arabischer Küche zu tun.

One of the best Middle Eastern cookbooks I have purchased in a while, with many excellent recipes and lovely photos. I especially liked the sauces and dips section, with interesting variations, like a special vinaigrette to use as a hummus topper and green tahini sauce.

I'd been hoping to find a clear path to learning how to cook Middle Eastern dishes and wanted to learn about and understand how to use some new spices. Eden's Eating Out Loud has perfectly hit the mark. Her opening sections on "Your New Middle Eastern Pantry" and "The Essentials - Sauces and Dips" got me off on a solid footing. And now I'm having great success working my way through her delicious recipes. In my first week, I've made six dishes and every one has been serious, healthy deliciousness. I especially love her "work arounds" for when you don't have all of the exact ingredients or correct cooking pieces on hand.Eating Out Loud is chock full of gorgeous inspiring photographs, and Eden's charming personality is clearly evident throughout. Okay, yes, I've been a fangirl for a while now... but even if weren't - I am Super Happy with this cookbook! I've already learned so much, I'm eating healthier and I'm once again having great fun playing in the kitchen!
