This is my first and only bee suit so I have no prior experience and nothing to compare it with. That being said I really like it. The first time I used it was to install a new hive. The bees arrived two days late (thanks to usps) without food and on a eighty degree day. They were angry and some tried to sting me. The suit did its job flawlessly. It seals nicely so no bees got in and the stingers hardly stuck in the suit. The waist is elastic and velcro and the only place I'm concerned a bee can get in, so I tuck it into my jeans. Overall the suit is comfortable and well made. The fencing style head net is the only thing I'm not sure about yet. It's not bad but cuts down my peripheral vision, and sometimes I have to pull it away from my face since it will tend to squeeze together and start to press on my face which then makes it start rubbing my nose on the screen. I didn't Intend to buy this type of head net but this suit was so inexpensive and highly rated that I couldn't resist, besides who doesn't need to save a few extra bucks for $5 a gallon gas. The suit is great just decide which type of head protection you will find more suitable for your needs.

This jacket is very well made and heavy duty. The zippers are all brass and the seams are well sewn.

Nice suit..usually have plastic zippers,this one is metal..could use the big rings on the end of zippers to make it easier to zip with gloves on..but still a good jacket

For a beginner beekeper aspirant like me and looking for good protection, All i can say is very good quality product! Highly recommend this one

Keeps my husband cool. Easy to see out of. Provides protection.
