Long story short: I love this hybrid machine! I love the fact that it is two exercise machines in one, that it is easy to use (I only use the machine and console programs, not the iFit programs, though I’m sure they are nice), that it’s compact considering the type of machine and the price is certainly right.First machine sent was sadly defective, but could be used without programs or resistance in the interim while we figured out the solution to the problem. The replacement and/or repair service is free if you read the instructions and register your machine before putting it together as it says in Step 1 of the manual. It gives you a 90 warranty through the manufacturer Proform from date of purchase. So after two visits from a local repair service and three replacement parts, it was deemed completely defective.Yeah, bummer.Amazon came through! They not only shipped me a replacement machine immediately for free and took back the defective one (taken apart & put in the box that the replacement came in) right from my house, they gave me a partial refund to hire the local service guy to put together the second one. (The first one took my husband and I 2.5 hours to put together. Wasn’t too bad.)Great service by all!So remember to register the machine online to get the 90 days warranty and you don’t need to pay for a iFit membership if you don’t want to, just cancel before the free trial is up. However, you will need a credit card for the initial IFIT membership application, but they don’t charge unless you forget to cancel before the free trial is up.

This is the most motivating exercise form I have ever used. I have tried tons of different types of videos, treadmill, different types of regular ellipticals, walking/running etc. At the beginning of your work out when your feeling more sedentary the recumbent aspect is perfect for warming up and quick 15min. work outs. And it really is just 15min. as opposed to the time it takes you to find the right dvd and put it in the player, or get your shoes on and lock up your house for a run. This makes it a healthy workout because you can do shorter stents more often as well as your designated workout time. It's easy and fast to change from recumbent to full range elliptical. It is a quieter machine so time goes faster than on other ellipticals I've used. Also it's low to the ground, so that you don't feel like you're climbing onto a horse every time you want to work out. The screen and tension settings are D battery operated and the screen automatically turns on and off with pedal motion. This means no ugly cords and surge protectors or having to put it by an outlet. The gripper on the pedals is comfortable under barefeet; so you can literally just hope on and hope off. If you only have 10min. To exercise then all 10 of those minutes are used exercising. Over time that makes a huge difference in how much workout time you have done. No annoying actresses or hot/pollution air so exercise can be decompressing or multi-tasking. I know I sound like a promoter; but I'm just your regular Amazon shopper - that despite my healthy eating habits was worried about my heart health because of to much stress and no time to exercise. Now working out takes as much effort as I would normally spend to get on my scale and worry about my weight!P.S. From what I've heard around about the manufacturer and other reviews; I wouldn't expect anything in way of a warranty; but the engineering on this equipment is genius, it has a quality feel, and it was an amazing price.

Very sturdy and easy to assemble. Great price for product. You do need to be careful with the wires but it you go slow it goes together easy.

It is so hard to order things like this online because you don't get to try it out like you do in store, but yet in store it is just overwhelming. I am pretty stratified so far.We received it in good time, probably a week and a half, and I felt awful for the FedEx guy dragging it through the snow up to my porch. The box came pretty damaged and beat up. I was extremely nervous it was going to have missing pieces or broken parts, everything looked fine and there.Out of box it took us 1 hr and 35 mins to put it together, which isn't too bad. Instructions were pretty well laid out and things went together smoothly.Used it a handful of times already and have been happy with it. No creaks, no noises, and pretty stable. We live in a 105 year old Minnesota home that has no central AC and 3 stories. We decided to put it in the unfinished basement so it will be much cooler in the summer and out of the way. Even on the cement floor that has seen its better days, it seems really stable in both sitting and standing positions. We are woodworkers in our basement so we are happy there are wheels on it that we can store it away from sawdust easily.Husband doesn't really care for the options for work outs on it, I usually never use them and just go, so doesn't bother me. I cannot get the Bluetooth to work with music, which isn't a deal breaker since I have a stereo by it, but the speaker doesn't get to loud and it crackles on the highest volume.So far we are pretty pleased with it. If anything changes I will be sure to update.
