Screen Protector (Set of 2) for HP Elite x2 1012 12.5" Touch Screen Laptop Anti Glare Anti Scratch

Came promptly. Easy to install. Holding up well so far. Other co-workers saw and have ordered ones for themselves also. Cuts down the glare and the fingerprints.

These appear to be a matte, anti-glare screen protector. Technically they do fit the device and can provide a reasonable amount of protection which extends as far as it can without going over the speakers on your device and easily covering more than just the visible screen area. That's the good. You get 2 of them - also good, especially for what I paid (less than twenty.) And they do work and can be effective. I didn't mind the squarish cut off near the camera and webcam and sensor. This is not super custom fit but it is custom for this device. Unfortunately I've also discovered that the ends don't really adhere very well and no matter how clean of an install, you get bubbled areas at the end of the screen as someone else showed, especially near the camera holes, which is one large cut out around that area. It did cover the visible portion of the screen with just one raised area. If you're paying $10 or less for each one, perhaps it's worth it but expect something very flimsy. There is matte protection but you can see the little colored dots very clearly on the screen and if you're used to high quality matte screen protectors, this isn't going to cut it. The one I received later from a competing company that specializes in screen protectors was vastly superior and instantly noticeable.

First I ordered this and it was shipped in a bubble pack. Unfortunately this didn't prevent from being folded and there was a couple creases in the product once I opened the packaging. Returned. I re-ordered as this seems to be the only one that fits the HP Elite X2 1012. This time there was no evidence of creasing so I attempted to apply the product. It's pretty straight forward... Clean the screen and then apply the protector. Unfortunately there is a lot of static on the film backing so there's dust that, once you remove the backing while installing, gets in between the screen and the protector. Bubbles everywhere and the edges have either missed out on the benefit of adhesive or this is that poor of a product that the edges just don't stay down. Then once you remove the film protecting the screen protector, you're left with a dull screen that gets worse when you try to wipe it clean with a microfiber cloth. I wish I could send this 2nd set back for a refund, but I used one. I took it off the tablet after 5 minutes as I was very dissatisfied with this product. I'd rather take my chances with putting a scratch in the tablet screen then to deal with this again. Save your money and don't buy this product.

Es mica antireflejo matte, cuando le pasas el dedo se escucha el "suusshh", y me agrada bastante. Lo que no está tan chido es que no es del tamaño exacto de la pantalla (del cristal) y al ponerla no hay forma de saber qué tan centrada está, yo la puse un poco a la derecha. Cumple su función, pero solo tiene ese detalle.

The screen protector is much smaller than the actual glass portion of the HP Elite X2 1012 model. After installation, it does look very awkward and cheap/poorly placed since it is matted, very noticeable. There is a quarter of an inch gap on all sides, if perfectly centered. The edges, some corners and camera area, do not stick to the screen and I cannot seem to get it to do so. I will be looking to get my money back on this one.
