We love to travel. So now that we're retired, we travel by car a lot. Sometimes we just go wherever the road takes us. My husband likes to look through books like this to get an idea of which way to go and what to see. So many great ideas. We take it with us in the car along with paper maps so we can see what's around the areas we go to.

Lots of places that I have never heard of. Good book for dreaming and planning trips. Not all are expensive.
