Kogan Page Be A Free Range Human: Escape the 9-5, Create a Life You Love and Still Pay the Bills

Reading with my partner, very inspiring book.. the timeframe of accomplishment I find too short but it’s a great book..

This is my 3rd time reading this book, I read it 2 in the first edition years ago and now in the 2nd. I love it! I read a lot and something different about Marianne's spirit makes me have hope for the future (different from other similar books). I am following her advice in the book and have become a "Free Range Human" on Sept 26 and have my escape plan in action. She makes this easy and fun to dream and that anyone can live their dreams. My goal is to live my best life free and fulfilled and this book was an awesome guide.

I'm only about a quarter of the way through the book, but so far a helpful, interesting read. She is a very engaging speaker, and her TED Talk resonated with me, so I purchased this book.

Well what can I say, what an amazing book. I’ve been variously self employed/freelancing/had a few businesses over the last decade plus and oh how much I wish this book had been about when I’d started out. What a difference it would have made to figuring out not just what I was doing but how to do it best for me. For my style. For how I work and the life I want to live.It’s really eye opening and they way Marianne seems to write to you personally, the stories and the very much, find yourself and your fit, fit it to you approach is not only refreshing but oh so helpful. I’m nearly finished the book and have been doing the exercises and listening to all the bonuses and podcasts. Have already started a project and adjusting how I approach others. Now that I’ve figured out my attractor style there’s adjustment needed but I can see how it changes things already.Cannot recommend this book enough. Already been buying it for friends and I think a few people might find this under their tree this Christmas!

A friend of mine loved this book and reccomended it to me. But I found it pretty boring, like white girl figures out how to remote work and has the money to do it before actually doing anything daring. Has family that could bail her out if anything goes wrong. Oh and how did she do, she created some business where she tells people how to remote work. Uhhh, that doesn't help me or anyone I know. Thank but no thanks!
