NoctuaNH-U14S TR4-SP3, Premium-grade CPU Cooler for AMD sTRX4/TR4/SP3 (140mm, Brown)

i have the i forget which model but its a threadripper 220w cpuguy at the computer shop here said i need to get a liquid cooler cuz its 220w cpui used that liquid cooler and the temps were always more than 80 degrees i was worried about that temp so i checked and i guess 80 degrees is OKbut decided to under-clock cpu for safety still going higher than 80 degreesthen i saw Linus tech tips recommending this cpu cooler anyways with "Noctua NH-U14S" i have overclocked my cpu and its still only 40-50 degrees this cooler by far exceeded my expectations

I put this cooler on a Threadripper 3960X and used Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut (applied very carefully and thinly), and got an extra Noctua fan. The CPU runs at 60C under sustained full load and the fans are riddddiculously quiet. MUCH quieter than my water cooled rig!I only got this cooler, because I couldn't find a water cooling set fast enough, but in retrospect this was the better buy for sure, assuming you're comfortable using liquid metal compound on the CPU. I would give this six stars if I could.

I had an Enermax liqtech TR4 240mm water cooler which eventually got clogged up and the plate distorted, I bought this as a stand-in until I found another water cooler but I've decided to stick with it. It is absolutely silent, to the point that I was repeatedly checking the fan was running and checking temps for the first few days, it's quieter under full CPU load than the water cooler ever was even when new. Temps are good too.The only issue is the fan is big and tends to foul the tops of the RAM modules so you have to shuffle it up the cooler a bit to get it in and it then it fouls the tower side a bit. I took the window out of my case and flipped it inside out to get a few mm extra clearance which solved the problem but looks a bit rough.

Ho aquistato questo prodotto per sostituire il dissipatore a liquido Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT, che è rumoroso, il software spesso crea problemi, e con il teradripper 3960x si surriscalda, e son rimasto stupefatto dalle temperature , che con l'istallazione della doppia ventola sono state più basse del corsair, e sopratutto la rumorosità, che è quasi impercettibile. Noctua, prodotti di altissimo livello. Unica piccola pecca, che su questo air cooler di nuctua, specifico per socket strx4, la pasta termica non è installata, compresa nella confezione, ma il dissipatore non ne ha già sulla base, per il resto è praticamente fantastico

Je l'utilise pour refroidir un AMD threadripper 2990XW que j'utilise pour un serveur média et de jeux.Avec 4 serveurs de jeux qui tournent en même temps et une vidéo en lecture il ne dépasse pas les 45°C et il ne fait pas un bruit.Un monstre dans sa matière.

I live in a hot place and so far using water cooling, I had to underclock my threadripper 3960x so as not to overheat it. Not anymore. The inbuilt thermal paste is also good enough. Really silent, great product 10/10.Note: Wear a glove while mounting, the fins are sharp, I nicked my hand on it.

Sowas ist man gar nicht mehr gewohnt bei Computerteilen. Eine in lesbarer Grösse gedruckte und perfekt illustriert Anleitung in der der Einbau genau erklärt wird.Mir war die Wasserkühlung meines PCs kaputt gegangen und ich wollte wieder mit Luft kühlen.Und das tut es jetzt auch, und zwar leiser (!) als die Wasserkühlung war. Der Lüfter ist zwar nicht billig aber definitiv oberste Qualität. Die Laufruhe ist grossartig. Der Einbau war wirklich supereinfach und toll erklärt und alles was man braucht (inklusive Wärmeleitpaste und Imbus für die Schrauben)) ist beim Produkt dabei.Die Kühlleistung auf dem Threadripper 2950X ist Ok. Im idle ca. 41 Grad. Unter Vollast wenn alle 16 Kerne dauerhaft 100% rechnen ist die Temperatur allerdings auf 62 Grad, so dass ich mir noch den Zusatzlüfter NF-A15 dazu bestelle, der laut Rezension nochmal -5 Grad bringt.Nach ausgiebigem Gebrauch: die Laufruhe ist immer noch sensationell (wobei mein gesamter Tower auf leise getrimmt ist). Das System ist definitiv viel angenehmer als mit der vorher eingebauten Enermax Wasserkühlung (die ich leider niemandem empfehlen kann, die war nach noch nicht mal 3 Jahren defekt.)Update: gerade den Zusatzlüfter verbaut. Tipp: darauf achten in welche Richtung der Luftstrom im rechner fliessen muss und den Lüfter entsprechend der Richtung konfigurieren und einsetzen. Hatte ihn zuerst falsch rum eingesetzt weil kein Hinweis in der Anleitung dazu ist.Wenn alles richtig ist gibt es ungefähr die versprochene Kühlung um zusätzliche 5 Grad, bei mir sind es 4 Grad-- und das flüsterleise.Unter Vollast bleibt das System jetzt immer deutlich unter 60 Grad trotz Übertaktung. Im idle ist die Temperatur unter 40 Grad . Perfekt.
