Becomes a good habit, new cover protects and attaches
This little book has worked its way into my health monitoring for every medical visit. I always find it and take it with me to appointments. You know how they take your blood pressure at almost every health visit? Now, I record those #'s (and I'm sorta up and down on the edge of too high). You know how they tell you verbally your cholesterol #'s when you get bloodwork done? Now, I record those #'s on the Blood Labs Numbers page - and it's already labeled and even has units, so all I do is put in the number. Because it's paper, marking it up is easy so I put a smiley face next to the "good" cholesterol, HDL. Who remembers that? I'm even using it to track when my colds/flu start & stop.Update: the newly released book "cover" doubles as a protective, see through holder that protects. I keep my book in its cover at all times. The cover also has a magnet that can attach the book, such as to a refrigerator. For seniors, medical personnel are trained to look there for medical records?

You take it with you when your on the go anywhere
I was over at Geisinger in Pa . Showed it to the Doctor and he was amazed at the design and layout and the detailed information it was a Blessing actually , everything was in the My Body Passport Booklet . Sure all the info was in their computer system , yet I said here try this and they did and liked it . So if you often go to a Medical Center and you travel from State to State or Travel Abroad , I recommend you get My Body Passport . I take it with me always . So I am getting more for the rest of my family members . Makes a good gift for those who are dear to you . So what are you waiting for get My Body Passport . Now I have a peace on my mind knowing everything is in it . Thank you and God Bless to those two who started this . Also stay healthy always .

I bought two, one for me and one for a friend...
...here are his comments "Medically speaking, in an emergency it's there when you can't recall and it's your words when you can't speak for yourself. As someone who climbs in countries around the world I know that it is possible that I might find myself in a situation where I need medical attention. In an emergency, it's hard to remember everything the doctors, emergency responders, or other healthcare professionals need to know. Prescriptions, immunizations, allergies, health care providers, insurance information, emergency notifications or directives and this is just scratching the surface. This one little booklet "My Body Passport" is perfect." I agree. Perfect.

very disappointing
this was a xmas gift for an elder parent. it is very disappointing, nothing what I thought it would be, too many identical pages, not enough space, and the overall quality is mediocre .

I bought one for myself and my daughter. I bring it to our appointments/check-ups. I keep all of her immunization and dental records here. I wish someone had started one for me when I was a kid. It takes the guess work out of the equation. I have all our info available when I need it.

Great idea!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Anyone who has an elderly parent should have this book. My 87 year old mother recently broke her hip. I needed all her medical info quick -medications and existing conditions. Also I could not locate her medical directive to sign for her hip surgery. She has four doctors and seeing a new one next week. This will make it so much easier. Keeps track of info and even has a place to tell you where to find the directive!

Everything in the sales ad is correct. This is something every member of your family should have from birth. It would be easier to simply hand this to your doctors, or have his assistant copy necessary pages than writing ten papers every time you visited.

Wonderful!
I bought My Body Passports for my elderly parents. It has been a godsend when it comes to needing their medical information in a hurry. I think everyone should have their own My Body Passport and I plan to buy one for each of my family members. Cannot recommend enough.

Un-necessarily Complicated format.
This patient passport is far too detailed with little spacing and poor layout. I would not recommend it to anyone. I bought two on reviews to be very disappointed. I have now researched several patients passports and found a far more patient friendly passport produced by the NHS.

Life saving and amazing!
Very useful indeed! As someone with a rare condition this is a great idea for travelling! I am also a nurse and would find this absolutely life saving if I found it on a patient admitted to the ED. Amazing idea and anyone with important medical history should carry one!
