I have a high end dishwasher that works effectively with cascade platinum. I decided to downgrade to these cascade complete pods, thinking that since it's a good appliance and I rinse my dishes, that surely it would be sufficient but every load has come out with dried on grainy debris and clear glass is left cloudy. I suspect this is related to lime present in the water but the more expensive platinum pods apparently have an ingredient that addresses the lime, leaving the dishes clean and clear. Perhaps the complete would work in soft water but go for the platinum if you need powerful cleaning or have hard water.

I got these because the platinum cascade packs with the silver outside weren’t available when I placed my order (because they’re the best). With these it’s like when I have dried food smears on the dishes they don’t come off of all of the dishes all the time so it’s like hit or miss. When I use the platinum ones in the silver container it get the food off no matter what cycle the dishwasher is put on or how long the food is on the dish it works every single time. These are good in a pinch but the platinum ones are better.

I’ve been using Cascade for a very long time. It’s become even more convenient with the pods. The price is ok, not cheap but not very expensive.Love the fact that it works well!

I love cascade and is my preferred brand for my dishwasher. My dishes always come out sparkly clean. Love them.

All of my plates and dishes are plastic. They are left with white residue spots all over.
