Yamaha outboard models of 115 HP or less may require the MAR-MINIF-IL-TR Fuel/Water Separating filter. This is completely up to the boat manufacturer and dependent on available space in the boats transom. If you are unsure, please check your current set-up before purchasing. Call a Yamaha Dealer , get P/N then order on Amazon a lot cheaper than dealer

I don't know what a Racor 3213 is. The Yamaha mar-fuelf-il-tr is a disposable spin-on cartridge water eliminating gas filter that can only be used with the corresponding Yamaha housing. Think of this cartridge as you would an oil filter cartridge. You must find the one that fits your car model and engine. I would suggest that you find a cross reference chart if there is such a thing, and see if can match it with a cartridge. If you can't, you must purchase the Yamaha housing assembly and replace the Racor. Try the Eastern Marine internet catalog. I hope this helps you.
