This camera works great and takes great footage and good pictures. It comes with tons of attachments and mounts and a waterproof case. Gopro would charge and arm and a leg for each of those items separately. Customer service is amazing.The first case I got started leaking at 50'. I emailed tectectec customer service and they sent me a new one no questions asked. Took it on a dive boat today and went down to 75' with no issues. Very pleased. Can't beat it for the price.(Photos taken with out strobe or flash, hence the color loss)

This review is done by professional videographer, who use this camera in different shooting situations. I was looking for quick budget replacement of my "Go Pro Hero 3+ Silver" camera that I loose in a deep water shooting. I unpacked my XPRO2+ and was surprised how many items this unit packed with. . Going through setting I find out that 1080 60p is the most useful for my needs. Opening and closing underwater housing wasn't create any problems. During bright sunny day camera performs very well . Not over saturated and with correct colors . Underwater shooting was a pleasant experience even though screen was dimmed after 10 sec of shooting to save a battery. I was fully satisfied with the video quality, watching it on a big screen tv. Still pictures are surprisingly good. In addition camera performs very usable slow motion with 720p90fps. Also I notice that 4k resolution with 25 frames rate didn't bring acceptable results mostly because of rolling effect when you pan camera. Having fish eye lens full time is little annoying but remember that this is action cam, so use it for what it design for. Shooting in a low light is not a strong point of XPRO2+., but on most common situations with adequate lighting this camera did a great job and definitely deserves her place on a top list of a budget action cams.

This is a great Sport and Action Camera! Highly Recommended! I have an older action camera that only records in 1080 30 fps and lacks an LED screen and found this camera while looking for an upgrade. Wow,,,what a difference! I received the blue camera with appealing graphics. The camera is the typical very small form factor (approximately 2 1/4 inch, by 1 1/2 inch, by 1 inch) and has an on/off/mode button on the front, an "OK" button on the top, and up/down buttons on one side. On the other side are unprotected slots for the microSD card (up to 64 GB, high speed), a mini HDMI female connection, and a mini USB connection. The battery is accessed via a plastic cover on the bottom of the camera and it charged in the advertised time of about 5 hours (first time). There is a 2 inch diagonal LED screen that takes up the majority of the rear of the camera (albeit a low quality screen). The camera is turned on and off, and modes selected via the front button. The modes cycle through various selections which are displayed on the rear screen making the camera very easy to use. The wide angle lens works well and is advertised at 170 degrees. There are plenty of accessories to include a small transformer and charging cable, various mounts, and a waterproof case (moderate quality) with a spare backing. Everything you need to get started, minus the microSD card. I tried the various modes and was able to operate the camera with no issues. All the pics and videos easily downloaded to my computer for storage and manipulation. I downloaded the XDV app to my Android phone (available via Google Play), selected the wireless setting on the camera, and was easily able to manipulate the camera and settings and take pics/videos with the app. See below for pros/cons:Pros:-Appealing color and graphics-Lots of accessories, and waterproof case-1080p at 60 fps, and 720p at 90fps (for slow motion effects)-Rear screen allows for easy operation and mode selection-Phenomenal value-Very good video quality!Cons:-Modes above 1080p of limited utility for most due to low frames per second-Limited utility for still shots (no zoom, some problem dealing with high contrast situations)Cannot comment on battery life during use as I'm waiting to take this diving, which is the camera's primary purpose for me. This is a great camera that won't break the bank and give you 99% of the capability of "that" branded camera. Saving money means an easy choice for upgrades in the future! Bought this actioncam for a trip to Puerto Rico and it was perfect. Came back with great videos & photos from our trip, including snorkeling. Battery life was great, picture quality was superb. The wifi feature is nice too (to enable it, hold the up button... this wasn't very clear in the instructions). The wifi/mobile app allows for viewing your photos & videos, transferring them to your phone, or as a remote control for the camera (with live view of what the camera is seeing). Really great camera & highly recommended.Only negative aspects were that the user interface is clunky and takes some getting used to. It also does not perform well indoors/in low light (but it's an action cam not a dSLR after all)

It's a great product for the price! My only issues are with the waterproof case (which permanently dents the buttons), and the mobile app. The app seems to crash a lot, and it's unclear a lot of the time. Should the files download to my phone? What's the download button for? I can't find the file anywhere on my phone, and there doesn't seem to be a "help" section on the app. Everything else is great! You don't need to shell out $400 for an action camera and all its accessories!

I bought this product as an alternative to the more expensive versions available and all I have to say are good things! The camera works great! I took it snowboarding and tried it in a few configurations and it worked perfectly. I am excited to get on the trails this summer and record some mountain biking and to test it in the rivers while fishing! I have not found anything with the product to complain about and the company is AWESOME! They emailed me, before my camera even arrived, with a few pointers on its use and to let me know they are there for me if I have any issues or concerns.They definitely go above and beyond what others would! I highly recommend this product as an alternative to more expensive products out there and I am encouraging my friends to pick one up for our mountain biking adventures!

I have purchased this product and I used for my trips to Mexico, we have scuba diving and also for the read trips.Pros * I my own opinion it has a very good quality for the Images in Video mode. * Good quality for the photos as well.ConstI did not get fifth start for the follow:* when I plugged the cable to charge the camera, it started to record!!!!... so in the end of the day it was awfull to delete all the videos that the camera did by its self.* when I turned ir off the camera started to record!!!! so... I had a lot of unwanted videos.* The duration of the videos is 2 mintues (I was able to change the time but I had at least 200 black videos)* The life batery is arround 2 hours

Fa ottimi filmati..le foto nn sono il massimo di colori ma l'importante sono i video! Provata al mare e nessuna infiltrazione di acqua ..ci sono parecchi accessori in dotazione! La batteria dura tranquillamente una giornata ma ho preso anche una di scorta. Sono contento dell'acquisto

questa action cam è stata davvero una sorpresa, l'ho acquistata per mio figlio che voleva una camera da usare in mare, è diventata una nostra compagna di avventura su diversi scenari, ottima qualità e prezzo competitivo

Ho acquistato questa action camera per fare un regalo al mio compagno, è piccola e si può portare facilmente dappertutto, questo colore è bellissimo!! Ma devo ammettere che la stiamo usando molto molto poco, anche perchè la batteria non dura tanto

Camera ottima funziona perfettamente, completa veramente di tutto, WI FII ottimo ,riprese nitide, foto altrettanto, ci garantisco che e' un ottimo prodotto, la applicazione si collega in WI fii magnificamente e gestisce la camera da smartphone in tutto magnificamente. Ottimo prodotto molto semplice da usare. Consigliatissimo
