This is one of the few hook & loop diapers I purchased. I wanted something that my husband would be comfortable with because it is so similar to a disposable. We have had good luck with it so far.. no leaks! I agree that the attached flaps are cumbersome to rinse out if my son poops, but I love that you have the ability to position the flaps/double up where it is needed (in front in our case). Overall I'm very happy with this diaper

With my first child born in 2005, I was all about the "new pockets" on the market. I loved the ease of use, etc. With my second child born in 2012, I have so much less love for pockets. For some reason prefolds/fitteds and covers have been easiest, and most bullet proof. So I decided to try the Freetime AIO for this baby (thinking it to be somewhere in between). I am ever so glad I did. They really are the happy medium for a prefold baby's caregivers looking for convenience.*I noticed one reviewer mentioned that if you don't stack the inserts just right, that it leaks. This is remedied by making sure all the insides are tucked into the dipe after putting it on baby. A quick visual inspection around the leg holes and a quick tuck is all that is needed to avoid a leak.*I also noticed some reviewers talking about how difficult it is to rinse the inserts. I rarely rinsed before my baby started on baby food. I breastfed all feedings except on Sundays mornings at church, so maybe 2 bottles of formula a week. The poop came off in the wash no problem. Now that the baby is eating baby food, I shake the dipe over the toilet and the poop rolls right off with enough shakes. Sure there is some left over, and occasionaly the poop isn't as solid, but if it's that non-solid it's going to be taken care of in the wash anyways. So mostly I just dip in the toilet water and try to get as much off, but don't stress about it. It's fine for us, always washes fresh, and no problems.*I didn't notice these to be less trim than many of my pockets, and prefold/cover combos. Cloth diapers aren't as trim as paper diapers, but with these he was still able to wear age appropriate shorts/pants.*They do take slightly longer to dry, but the beauty of this "non-cotton" dipe is that you can dry as long as it take the others to get dry, then hang on a pant hanger outside or inside (we use the shower curtain bar in the bathroom) and they dry easily without getting stiff.I also wanted to add that I tried the Flip system. My baby at every stage poops to the side of the Flip inserts, making the covers one time use. I have found that this AIO is essentially the Flip system already put together for you, with the whole diaper being a one-time use between washings, instead of wanting to cry when the multi-use between washings cover gets soiled on the first post-wash go.Verdict: we will be purchasing more of these :)

I love the diaper but HATE the Velcro. The quality of the Velcro is just not up to par with the quality of the diaper. Their solution for keeping the Velcro covered during washing was to make it so you can fold the "scratchy" Velcro in. This leaves the "soft" part of the Velcro up against the skin while baby is wearing it. Even being the "soft" Velcro it's still a bit scratchy and leaves his skin a little red where it touched. A bit of a design flaw

Love the absorbancy of this diaper but the flaps are kind of annoying. Also the diaper seems a little on the small side.

These diapers are so good. My preemie twins have been wearing them starting from about 7lbs and have never had a leak. They wear them as overnight diapers and can go 10 or 12 hours with no issues ever. They never get diaper rash either. I follow the washing instructions recommended by "fluff love and CD science" (you can google it!). No stains or smells. It says to air dry only but I uae the drier on low and it's fine - just don't take them out while hot to avoid diminishing the elasticity. Only issue is the hook and loop - if you forget to use the laundry tabs and stick them down then they cling to the soaker part of the diaper and damage it a little, but, mia culpa! I now remember to use the laundry tabs and problem solved. Because of this issue I then bought some of the same diapers but with snap closures and while they don't pose the same damaging laundry issue, they are more tricky to wrestle onto a wriggly baby and provide a less than perfect fit which is assured with the hook and loop system. Anyway, FYI, I just got some money for Christmas and what did I spend it on? Me? Nope, I bout 8 more of these bad boys so they can be for overnights and going out and backups. We opted for hook and loop but not all styles come that way so I have a mixed bag of those and snaps so that I can get the designs I like. These are expensive, but you get what you pay for. They're sooooo good. I also have flats with covers and snappis, and a lot of Alva pocket diapers for my day to day stash and I'm happy with ten all. But nothing compares to bumgenius :-)

Velcro wears out quickly. I'm good with a sewing machine, so I've replaced it, but the snap version would have been better, I think.Otherwise, it is our favorite.

It's not their best, but this is a good diaper. It's VERY bulky, which is to be expected since it's an AIO. It washes well, and it's not leaked on me yet.

They are one of the pricier brands for aio diapers. But they are great. I bought two. They are well made and I love the attached inserts...diapers are super absorbent but dry great!

I saw this and loved it, from afar it looks a bit like a nappy tuxedo then you see all the formulae on it, and as a scientist I had to have it for my little boy!
