I have only made one recipe so far - the Orange Chicken which was delicious. A lot is written about her using a lot of store cupboard ingredients but firstly she lives on a Ranch 2 hours drive from the nearest supermarket so, of course, she has to use some ready prepared items and this can be a good shortcut for busy people to speed up their cooking. However, if you want to make your own broth (stock) there is nothing to say you can’t. Adapt her recipes to fit your life. I note conversion tables are now in her books to assist with measurements. Most, if not all, of the ingredients that are not available in the UK are available online, even from Amazon so a little bit of fore planning will resolve that issue.

Very pleased with this purchase. It includes so many recipes - a lot of those which have featured in Ree's TV show too. She covers many different types of meal idea and they are perfect for week day eating. I particularly dislike when recipe books omit pictures, however, this book is photographed brilliantly with lots of step-by-steps pics for different stages of the recipe as well as what all the final dishes should look like. The recipes are not complicated, are very easy to follow and you are not likely to go wrong with this book.

We watch her show religiously and couldn’t decide on which of her books to buy! I decided to buy the Dinnertime book first because we’re quickly getting bored with our regular dinnertime meals during lockdown (COVID-19). My girls (6yrs & 10yrs) and my hubby have started getting involved in cooking dinner during this period, so they can try the recipes out too.I have literally ear-marked most of the recipes in the book to give them a try!

I watch Ree Drummond on food network.I would love to visit her ranch.The book has some really good recipes in it.I have made a lot of her Chocolate Fudge, 2 ingredients so simple as are most of the recipes.

No wonder they didn't show the recipe pages in the preview: too many small pictures + comments in small print, not very practical.... otherwise quite entertaining, but I don't think I am going to use it a lot for cooking...
