No, this is a grain mill. It is only to grind grains, legumes and some spices. You cannot grind any oily or fatty ingredients with it because they would clog the milling stones. Rather use a high-performance blender instead.

Can the mockmill be used to flake or roll whole oats for porridge?

No, this is a grain mill which grinds grain to flour. In order to flake or roll oats you need a grain flaker. We have them available as well, both electrical and manual.
