Reliable Quality
Our Bluetooth Thermal Receipt Printer for Square was becoming increasingly unreliable, dropping its connection during busy hours. This Star Micronics USB option has proved to be the perfect solution. Out of the box ready and easy to install, without any issues so far.

Very happy so far so good !!
I had to purchase this device in place of the wrong printer (Nothing wrong with the wrong printer just not compatible with my square register) i purchased back in April of 2024. With so much with life going on i was able to connect square. Since i connected this printer with my square register it works flawlessly so far so good !!.

Never worked
This printer does not work. Paid over 300$ . I had 3 different IT technicians try to instal and printer continues to malfunction.they all worked on it for over 5 hours. For that I am returning it but. They want to charge a 50 % restocking fee because it was opened. But how am I supposed to try to use it without opening it? It makes no sense. The printer is defective. They are taking your money and selling products that don’t work. And when you have to return it because it’s broken they keep 50% of the purchase price that’s stealing.

Needs pro installation
This is NOT an easy to install, plug and play printer. You need pro knowledge and a bit of a network knowledge to be able to install this. I myself have installed hundreds of these and for me, it's a 3 minute task.Your network should be 2.4GHZ compatible. Most people think mesh networks do not have 2.4 channel but in reality, 99% of them do.You need to make your network's 2.4GHZ discoverable in order to connect this printer. (Google how to turn on 2.4 GHZ on "whatever your mesh network is (eero, orbi etc)" then follow the video instructions on how to connect the printer provided by star mocronics on youtube. It may take a few tries but once it connects, you can forget about the printer and it'll work for many many years.

Printer worked great once I figured out how to install it.
Print quality, print speed, and ease of use is perfect. Zero complaints there. Installing the driver and software on the other hand was less than straight forward. I was unable to figure it out after two days, and our tech guy spent one whole day working on it before it functioned properly.I'll still buy more of these in the future, but making the driver and software more readily available in it's fully updated form would make this product a must for any sales operation.

Instant connection with Square Stand
I have square stand/iPad combo and bought this for my booth at events. Took minutes to setup. Plug into power source. I then used the included USB cable to plug the printer into the accessory port on my Square Stand.Loading thermal paper was as simple as dropping in the roll, ensuring it was feeding in the proper direction and closing the lid. Turned on the power then fired up Square app on my iPad. Added the print station via Hardware menu and ran a test print. Wow that was easy. And for the $$ it should be. I just wish I could have used my DYMO XL instead of having to purchase another printer. Square just won't recognize it.The receipt layout and content is setup within Square (web version). I have a detailed logo and the print quality displays it perfectly. The anti-curl feature delivers nice flat receipts.Note: You get a sneeze of a roll of receipt paper so be sure to pickup more with your purchase. I picked up Thermal King 3.25" x 230'.You can get the thinner rolls as it comes with an adapter to hold them, but it also requires downloading an app to change the setting to recognize the different sized roll.
