CricutWeeding Tool Set

This is a fantastic addition to the Cricut tool army when fighting against the foes of weeding sticky vinyl ! There was a regular weeding tool in the pack that I had already from an earlier pack of tools that I bought when I first purchased my maker, but apart from that the selection that I received was excellent. It was a case of I didn't know I needed them until I had them. There is an excellent weeding pick with a teeny horizontal pointed end which is literally a game changer for weeding intricate vinyl. You may think you don't need these - but I would urge you to reconsider as I found it made any fiddly weeding job much easier. I haven't used the tweezers yet for anything other than gem placements but they made a great job of that too. I'm delighted and thoroughly recommend to any avid Cricut or vinyl weeding fanatics out there !!

I had to purchase this trimmer as blades are no longer available for earlier Green model. It does not lock like the green one does to keep your paper firm whilst cutting.The 2 slots underneath for spare blade do not work properly as the blade fall out, so I have had to put sellotape over the top to secure them.Had I have known this before, I would have bought another make.To stop making blades for the green one is so wrong as that is an excellent model and one that could be relied on, There is no comparison between the two and the white one cannot compare as it is a very poor replacement to the Green one. Do not buy this one, as there are others that are better.

I wish I had discovered this Cricut trimmer last year as it would have saved me so much time. I had purchased a similar, slightly smaller product which gave a furry edge on 220gsm card and I had to cut short edges using scissors. This product is MUCH better. I typically cut about 40 rectangles from an A4 sheet to make tags and it takes a fraction of the time using compared to with the previous product. I also don't have to laboriously mark trim lines as the ruler is pretty accurate. I can just print and get to trimming with straight and neat edges. I've also used it on regular thickness paper with no problems.

Ok but nothing special for the price so you only pay for the brand name.

This is a great tool to have. Yes we can use our hands to flatten the vinyl or card to the cutting mat but the brayer does a better job
