Even with wear and tear it functions well and is very durable. Although, you may see other review about this and i agree that the size isn't what is expected but is still god for a younger audience. Overall its very good and is good at what is was made for just took a star away because of the size. Suitable for all ages

Works great for timing cubes

The timer is perfect for cup stacking and cubing wayyy better than the phone stopwatch

My son recently got into "cubing" and he loves this. It keeps the time well and he's excited to use this to improve his times on completing rubix cubes. Overall great - it's holding up with daily use and no complaints.
