MSY restored my health!
Hello,I am Fran, 67, based in Paris. I’ve being practising actively MSY for a bit more than 2 years now. I’ve always been doing gym, fitness in my life…until I had a pleurisy about 5 years ago. Went in surgery and had a lot of medicines to take. Yet could not do any gym -very little power / breath- They diagnose that the pleurisy was not completely cured. So more medicines and planned a new surgery. Side effect = I gained 70 pounds! Then I decided to find other « natural » solution. I ran into Lee’s « Meridian System Yoga » (MSY), which hapilly complimented my paida lajin routine (padding along meridians). As of today I am completely fit, can do gym / fitness -but not interested any longer-. Last scanner + breath analysis a year ago showed that my two lungs are in full shape, that I am in full shape. Happy side effect = I lost all the unneeded pounds…What is great with MSY: - Clear explanation of the Chinese vision of meridians (from TCM Traditionnal Chinese Medicine) - Easy to implement = I did not have any idea of what yoga was at that time. The book walks you through every needed steps (what, how, how long, how to breath…all is clearly stated!) - You can practise easily = there are very easy asanas, as well as very demanding ones. So you start with the easy ones, and build up from there. I can do them all today! - The photos are very clear. So no headache to practise the asanas. - Best of all, there are 5 sequences ready available. All meridians are worked out week after week. Just do one sequence per day, et voila! - …And Lee is just a « yoga master ». His definition of yoga = « the art of wellbeing, love and happiness ». I do emphasize: Lee is a REAL « yoga master » (I’m in touch with him!)My morning routine (5am): - 15’ meditation. This is Franck Kinslow’s EUstillness meditation - 20’ pranayama - 30 to 45’ MSY - 10’ meridians padding / massage - Then 30’ zen jogging (with my dear dog)

Meridian Systems Yoga works like a miracle for me
Meridian Systems Yoga works like a miracle for me. It feels like no other yoga class that I’ve ever taken. Before coming to Lee’s classes my kidneys were failing. My doctors believed that I would need a kidney transplant. Four months into Lee’s classes and my kidneys are fully functioning again. My doctors could not explain this, but I started feeling better after my very first class. I feel that Meridian systems yoga is helping me unblock my emotions. Everything in my body is flowing in a positive wholeness that I never felt before. It helps me carry on through my days with lower levels of stress, anxiety and worry. I sleep much better and my balance is much better too.

Lee incorporates many twist poses that are detoxifying and fun! After his classes
Lee's yoga method and classes are both subtle and powerful. He is very attentive to individual levels and needs, and customizes asanas accordingly. He is kind, gentle, intuitive and obviously dedicated to the well being of his students. I'm getting my strength and flexibility back after being sick for a few years. Lee incorporates many twist poses that are detoxifying and fun! After his classes, I feel more calm, confident and energetic.Thank you, Lee.

I highly recommend this guidebook
Lee Herrera presents a gentle form of yoga that is attainable for everyone regardless of age, body type or fitness level.. His explanation of the principles and theory of Oriental Medicine is concise, precise and very understandable. The illustrations and photographs are helpful in guiding the individual through the yoga asanas (postures) of the practice. He clearly demonstrates how these activate the flow of energy through the meridians to address health issues.I highly recommend this guidebook. Dr. Paulette Marin, Doctor of Oriental Medicine

Fantastic and very interesting system of yoga
Fanstatic book. Well explained and wonderful illustrations and I have already incorporated this yoga system into my practice and teaching. This compliments the Oriental Yoga that I am already studying and practicing and working with yoga through the seasons and their co-ordinating meridians. I have found that the poses relating to the Lung Meridians are particularly useful for me as I often suffer lung problems and especially during Autumn/Winter but these practices have so far kept me virtually clear and help me breath more freely

Slightly disappointing
I had great expectations for this book but found that the production was poor, diagrams were inconsistent and I was expecting more educative material on each meridian and more yoga postures to move for each one.
