Elasto Gel, Hot/Cold Roll, 3 X 10, 3-Pound

Love this neck cooler. First used at my chiropractors office. You have to lay flat on your back for it to hit the arch in the back of your neck, but it's soft and comfortable. Keeps it's cool temperature for a long time, then stick it back in the freezer.

I just placed an order for a second one of these so there is always a fresh cold one on hand. I keep it in the freezer in its original plastic bag and when a headache strikes, it is the best ice pack I have found for relief. My migraines start in my neck and the lower back of my head and this roll not only applies cold where I need it, it also stays firm enough to apply just the right amount of pressure as well. The outer case is soft and comfortable and it doesnt get too cold on your skin like many others. There have been times when this roll has been just the edge I needed to knock a headache out.

We use this for sore necks.. our PT told us to start out by lying on it at the base of the skull for 10 minutes to start... & slowly increasing it. She said we *can* sleep on it, but we have not yet. We use it at room temp & it has helped our neck tension which is usually the result of neck tension due to tongue ties (in the process of getting ready to release them), a car accident (an old injury that has gotten aggravated again?) , sleeping awkwardly, etc. Our whole family has used it from toddler to adult & it helps everyone.We WOULD purchase this again. Our PT uses it frequently for her clients/patients & recommended it to us.

Tbh I didn’t think I’d review this. I used this as my pillow on and off for years. My chiropractor recommended this before every session and for helping my neck pain. I have a fairly long neck (~5 inches from my sternal bone where my collarbones meet and where my jaw meets my neck. Not sure if that’s the standard measurement technique but it’s how I measure it due to collared shirts and turtlenecks and things like that).Anyway, forward head posture from work and sleeping with my head too far elevated gave me neck pains throughout the day and waking up needing to constantly crack it hence the chiropractor. I tried sleeping without a pillow. It relieved the forward head posture pain but then my natural arch in my neck started to disappear and straight neck is also painful and not a proper form for the neck. What’s a guy to do?I basically took this roll, wrap it in a hand towel for sanitary purposes and to thicken it at just the right size I need for my neck. This is great for my neck support while sleeping on my back. I wanted the large pillow that is 4 inch thick but it’s nearly 50% more expensive. Not worth it IMO where a towel can clear that gap plus keep it sanitary since we sweat in our sleep.I did deduct one star because I wish it was wider than 10 inches for when I roll over in my sleep, although I know this wasn’t designed to sleep with. Even 15 inches would’ve been plenty.Anyway. Saved my neck. Literally.

As a chiropractor I’ve gone through numerous cervical pillows to support my neck, while sleeping. I have a short neck and always sleep on my back, never on my side. Over the years I’ve grown tired of all the extra pillow surface area, that cradles my head. So I decided to try this and I love it. It took a little to get used to, but it is all the support I need, without all of the extra fluff. And because it’s gel, it stays cool! I’m sure it’s not for everyone, like Opera, you’ll either love it or hate it… but this is one happy girl!

This is nice it helps, its made well. I use it quite often and it holding up good. If it stayed cold a little longer that would make it better yet, but I still give it 5 stars.

I bought this one for a friend. She loves it. This is her 3rd bad disc in her neck. The prolonged pain in her arm from this one had her threatening to cut off her own arm. After using this she is doing much better. The size is right for her neck. This cools deeply helping with inflammation issues.

Love this ! Except that I wanted to purchase a second one and the price on AMAZON was doubled !! So, won't be purchasing a second one.
