Great value!
Our son absolute loves these cards! I first saw these at Barnes and Noble and decided to order them later here on Amazon. Our son is 2 1/2 and can properly name/identify everything on all of these cards. He is more confident and really enjoys doing it. Despite that he has torn a few of them, so I do wish they were a little more resilient. With that said I still think that for the price these are a must have for any child learning the alphabet, numbers, shapes and animals.

Great variation
My nephew loves these. They're very cute and have enough differentiation between them that they aren't all the same shapes and objects. These are great for parents who are trying to get their kids ready for school.

These are the best I’ve found!
These cards are great. As a school psychologist working in an elementary school, I focus a lot on development and instructional strategies for learning. Hence why I’ve probably spent too much time researching flash cards on amazon haha. I have to say these offer the best scaffolding and variety. Other card sets have multiple pictures or words on a card to teach shapes or colors (ex a red object for red, in which case the kid will want to make the object, not necessarily the color at first). These have separate sets that you can step up in stages. The color ones just have a splash of color and the word on the back. But then a separate set with the color word and a colored shape (red square). And yet another set has the color and an object (apple). Similar for shapes, they have simple b&w line drawings of a shape so you can focus on just the shape, then work up to the color and shape ones. It also has vocabulary cards (with left right, in and out, and some simple words). Then a whole set of letters and numbers. It has it all!

Easy for toddlers
I love that objects are not on the color cards. Like a pig for pink. I think that’s confusing for toddlers. These are great because it’s just the color

Great Inexpensive Teaching Tool
I’ve purchased a few different flash cards in the past two years and these are my favorite. My son turned two recently and he can name all the color cards and most of the shape ones. We’re using them now to work on learning our letter sounds. He can count to ten because of flash cards too. If you’re looking for an inexpensive old fashioned way to teach and bond with your preschooler, this is a good deck to have. :)

Best cards out there, but minor problem...
This is an awesome deck of cards, both for kids and for adults with dementia.Thick cards. Handle well. Crisp, colorful graphics. Comprehensive (many decks in one). And at a bargain price.Strangely, the only problem I found was the accuracy of the colors on the color cards. I say strangely because the colors on the back of the cards, where the answers are printed, are perfectly accurate. But some of the colored paint splashes on the fronts of the card are ambiguous. The shadows at the edge of the paint splashes are the correct colors, but in trying to render the splashes more three-dimensional by making the main part of the graphic lighter, orange becomes a yellow-orange, red becomes a pinkish red-orange, pink gets a red-violet tinge to it, and brown takes on a nondescript creaminess. When you turn the card over, voilà, you see a perfect color. If this problem is corrected in the next printing, I would give this deck ten stars out of five.

Got this as a gift for my Goddaughter. She's learning a lot.

Love them!
Bought it for my 14 month old niece. She loves them. Put some clear transfer vinyl over it so she could chew on them without ruining them and she carries them around the house. Great start to her learning all the basics.

Good quality. Description in review.
I’ve included photos because guessing what’s on flash cards is hard! Photo one is the front and back of the alphabet section. Photo two shows colour and colour shapes(pink heart) And shape words with white shapes on reverse. Photo three is open/closed, day/night, in/out and under/over. Photo four is one to ten, symbol and word with picture on reverse. Also shape word and real life item shape. Photo five is colours with white colour word, splat of colour on reverse. Also colour and real life shape (blue bird). Cards are really good quality. I’d recommend them. I use them for teaching. Just hoping to find an extended Ready for School animal range now.
