A great value pack, everything included

Holds my maps nicely, keeping them clean and dry. Chinagraph pencil allows me to highlight places I want to photograph or photograph from, as well as the routes to get there. This let's me take just the camera gear I need in a back-pack, leaving the rest safely in the car boot. The compass is a bonus, and seems accurate enough for my needs (general directions rather than serious orienteering, which is about 30 years behind me). Overall, very pleased with both the product and the price.

Was exactly what we wanted.

Everything in the pack is good apart from the main thing, the compass, it is very slow to swing, it does get there eventually but quite frustrating, especially for my grandson for whom it was bought. If he can't get on with it I'll give him mine.

Good value for money and great quality too

Needle in Compass is not very responsive and takes a lot of encouragement by tapping on the bezel to get it to eventually point North.When rotating the bezel the needle rotates with it.Map cover and whistle are fine!!!You could not rely on this compass. I raised this with the seller who sent me a second compass as a replacement.This was of similar quality. Hopefully I can navigate my way to the bin with both of them.Map cover and whistle are fine!!!

Compass I think works fine, you do have to lay it flat on your palm and give it a second. Whistle sounds a bit like an Aztec death whistle but to my knowledge it's loud enough to be heard in an unfortunate situation. Map bag does the job!

As this is for my granddaughter - Duke of Edinbrugh Award, I just hope it is large enough.

Un buon set entry level per orienteering.Unica pecca la bussola, poco resistente, che si è rotta con fuoriuscita inevitabile del liquido, alla prima botta.Ma dopotutto, da un prodotto "non professionale", c'era da aspettarselo.

Ma seule boussole à indiquer le nord au sud.. même le smartphone ne se trompe pas ;-(

Accessori interessanti e molto utili per l'escursionismo, la bussola sembra fare il suo dovere, in un corso base di escursionismo ha equiparato le altre presenti, utilissima anche la custodia impermeabile ed il fischietto, ad un prezzo buonissimo.

Conforme alla descrizione, perfetto per nelle sue caratteristiche.

Ho comprato due confezioni. La bussola va bene, il fischietto è fragile. Dopo solo 30 giorni uno ha smesso di fischiare.
